Since when was PvP removed from Kessel? I was there not even an hour ago and PvP was still working...
Is it just me? Or am I imagining something?
Oh, and on your point... I don't mind doing the PvP in Kessel, I just managed to do the mission and had little problems, I do totally agree with you that the Spawn Camper Killers are annoying and just because a player shoots somebody down in Kessel doesnt neccessarily mean they are there to grief somebody...
However, I have yet to do the Corvette Mission... (I need players in Ahazi willing to help me with this if possible)... and I probably should not be opening my mouth to praise PvP when it is entirely likely that I will be killed when I try and do the mission, lol.
But on the same note, I agree with you... But I seriously don't remember PvP being removed from Kessel... when did this happen?
In one week it will be removed from Kessel. Instead of creating a substitute for the players who want to fight other players fairly, they completely removed it from this zone.

WOW, I didn't think that it would be changed that fast. Only one week and people are mad that they can't master something. I mastered Privateer, the hard way. Soloed the 30 TIEs and lead the attack on the Corvette. After next Tuesday, I know that none of the new masters get any respect from the people who did it the right way. Now it won't take any skill to become a master, what a letdown. If the mechanics of damage and decay in space combat were changed to mirror the ground I would have thought that many of the people who are very vocal about complaining about this would go silent.
considering how new the game was.. those that did masterbefore really won't get any more respect. it took this long for the PvP zones to really fill up with high level players..
those that did the master missions first actually had it the easiest because there was as of yet anyone in the zone to gank them.... as more and more players reach the master pilot status the PvP zone of kessel would be harder and harder for a lower level pilot (Tier 4)to go in and not be killed in a PvP attack... this is an inevitability and i'm just glad they caught it only after a couple of weeks (the clear trend was towards ganking players trying to do their master mission, the trend would only get worse)and not months down the line..

Whoever wants to fight fairly, can also duel or can go into deep space or basically become 'overt' .. Are they hard to do?
Duels are an insult to pvp, deep space is laggy and master only, and overts are few and far between even the ground pvp which was widely used relyed on the tef system
Rebel / Imperial does not matter, Every side has people loving PvP, even I was loving it once may be more than all of you. But things happen and as an oldage compared to many of you, I don't like to inhale others stinking breaths telling 'I pwned you cos I come to camp this place earlier'
But sorry, stopping griefers are almost impossible.

No. But people who wishes to kill people who does not want to PvP are not 'minority', dont fool yourself.

What makes you think we will respect people like you who did itthe hard way in the first place anyways? Don't think too highly of yourself!
