1.) group up with friends (in case you dont have any - make some. you need em for the tier3-4 anyway. if you dont want to make friends - forget about mastering pilot.)

2.) have a high level friend (tier4+) help you by disabling high level targets in kessel, dath or endor. you can finish em off.

3.) buy a passage on a multi player ship that offers XP runs to kessel or dath.

talking about advancement in general.

your first box after novice is granted after completing your 4 initial missions.

you have to grind out the rest of tier1 till you reach 1111.

after you got your transfer you have to grind out each of the tier2 boxes (60k XP each) AND do an advancement mission to get the box.

once youre 2222 you have to complete 4 advancement missions each granting a tier3 box (no XP needed). most likely you have to bring friends to do the missions.

the Tier 4 boxes are XP based again. grind out a mil per box and do an advancement mission. (these are pretty hard - bring friends)

the master box is granted after completing 2 missions. (1st is to kill 30 enemy ships in kessel - easy - second is to kill an corellian corvette ins kessel - not that easy - bring a small army).

then youre done.

Go to Kessel starting on Tuesday.

Tier 5 ships with tons of experience, and the best part is that there is absolutely no risk!

tier 4 lambda shuttles. easy as hell for 6k experience a pop. they never even touch me before i kill them

all I can say is Kesel is your friend.. btw you dont have to grind the 7.5 mil exp for master. its given to you when you complete the mission. I am guessing they either changed that or its bugged
