Yes. There have been masters around since last monday and sunday. Friend of mine just started a new pilot yesterday, he's already into rebeltier 4 missions.

Deep space is laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagg/y when everything is spawned, lol. I get at the most 1-10 fps when in the heat of things, and that's not pilotable. But if you have a good compy you can stand it.
PvP in space should be fast, but not as fast as it takes for me to kill a nuna on the ground. I can take out entire squadrons and ruin their equipment and missions before they even get to load into the game. Something doesn't feel right about that. What's the point of even having shields if they get eaten in just one shot?
You only fly in circles if you're of equal engines and skill. That rarely occurs. There are other maneuvers that can be pulled up there, but not as it stands now, because the only maneuver you get is the joust: two ships see eachother over 1k+ away and fly toward eachother. Once in range they fire, and once theshots land it's all over. It's just not very skill-based or entertaining.
I can't understand how people like this, you spend all your time in some sector looking for PvP, 30 min + in some cases, and when you find it, it's overin less than 10 seconds, with little to no skill involved, nearly all luck. Ship equipment doesn't matter, save for MAYBE engines, but the rest can be tossed as it doesn't matter in PvP.
And no, if there was a PvP damage reduction we wouldn't all be in bombers. It would be speed and agility vs armor and strength. You can be slow, but be able to shoot things right out of the sky and take lots of damage, or you can be fast, but be easily blown up and have less firepower. It depends on how you like to play. I'm a speed freak myself, but in order to survive in PvP you HAVE to be a speed freak, or you lose. That's lame, and there should be more diversity in the game, and that could easily happen if there was large damage reduction, 75%-90%. That would bring the total shots to being dead to what, 4-10? Doesn't sound like a very long fight to me, unless you can't aim for squat.

i really dont understand how people enjoy it as it is.
they say its all skill and tactics...WHAT tactics...you see the person 1km, you boost, he doesnt see you, you shot you 1-3 lasers and hes dead. even if they do see you, he rolls ot breaks left/right/, or w/e, and it doesnt matter, because if you even land a lucky shot, hes dead.
maybe if the flight model was more like what many are used to(rolling actually matters, breaking turns, dives, etc, these are just examples), then maybe a 25%-50% reduction would be suffice.
as of now- the flight model is whack in PVP and
-damage is out of wwhack in pvp
