A cool thing I noticed when I first launched to space were storms in the Nebulae! You can hear them (which isa bit odd, considering it's space...)like thunder, and lightning arcs within. That, along with the spacestations, was what struck me as far as first impressions.

One thing I've really thought was wild, I got into a pretty intense fight in an asteroid field, and having to actually take into account for obsticles and such really added a dimension the ground game lacks, it was wild, twisting and turning, rolling in the nick of time to barley avoid an asteroid, great stuff.

Keep the positive stuff coming ![]()
I actually think we need one of these threads, cause some people complain ALOT... and hopefully it makes the devs happy too ![]()

No lie there, most of what I see is unconstuctive whining!
That said...
I love JTL, filled my tier 1 boxes last night.
It is a blast with friends, grouped with a guildmate last night, flew about blasting the heck out of things in my
handy dandy newly purchased TIE, complete with looted parts and all, lol.
Really a kick to fly about with friends as wingmates!
I may actually have to land at some point to see what Tatooine looks like again though from the ground.

I LOVE the graphics. They are so awesome. I like how when you target the engine of a hutt ship or something and you destroy the engine...you can see the engine blow up...and then fall off. I also like how many explosions there are when u blow up a ship. I've counted like 8 different explosions i think. I especially like the one where it looks like someone shot a sonic charge. The ship goes KABOOM and a blue ring spreads real wide. It is awesome. I have one question though...what's the difference between disabling a reactor and the engine? They both seem to do the same thing...

I played the Beta and was not really impressed. BUT, the live game is a kick. I'm liking the space.. piloting a ship is much better live then it was in beta. It seems to work great and i'm having a blast. I went Master Shipwright in four hours and am a Privteer Pilot 1/1/1/1 at the moment and have fun. I knnow a lot of people are leaving SWG but it is deffently a mistake.
I would like to see maybe player space station or something but got to admit they did a good job this time.

I got into an unintened dog fight in an asteroid field. The asteroid came in real handy. I was outnumbered, so I was constantly turning to fight off an attacker, and on a couple of occassions, they'd get obliterated by an asteroid they weren't paying attention to. I felt like I was in a scene from 'The Empire Strikes Back.'

Did that too! Even if they avoided the rocks, it split them up a lot, so they were a lot easier to find, and i didnt get fired upon all the time. My dad tells me i have to go to bed
so, no more playing tonite...
Cya'll tomorrow!
THIS GAME ROCKS

Instead of the usual and deserved graphics and gameplay praise, I offer this:
It gave my old and barely used Gravis Eliminator Aftershock a purpose. Flying with two analog sticks and ten buttons is much better than trying to use the mouse and keyboard.
And the force feedback works, too.

The Reactor generates power for the entire ship. If you take it out, nothing works.

Lol, well I actually don't think the collision thing is that big of a problem, since the ship hardly get damaged. Plus, its really awesome in a asteroid fight!
