If you're 4/4/4/4, you don't need xp. Just do your exit missions, and you're master.

Not yet. Wil tonight though Worked for several in my guild. Also, it fits with the pattern. Tier 1 ismission only, Tier 2 is xp required, Tier 3 ismission only, Tier 4 is xp required, Master ismission only.

I had to pay for my teir 1. Only tier 3 was free . . . and at the time I thought it was a bug. Interesting.

I reach master with a couple of my imp friends and they all showed up in there new ace fighters and ask me where is your new fighter I told them they dont make one. My friend then says what is the point of being ace privateer. I in turn say I get a really cool firesprayship then my last imp friends shows up in his brand new firespray. I'll just crawl back to my cave on naboo and cry now.


Please give us a unique fighter that can compete with the other factions top tier units. Please

I dropped privateer yesterday for rebel. Oh well...I am still going to fight the good fight for improvements on the privateer profession.

Unique Privateer ship...


Well, considering that we already get to pilot 3 Black Sun ships, lets go with that then. Plain and simple, Black Sun StarViper. Compact, powerful little ship that packs one heck of a punch. If you ever played Shadows of the Empire on the N64 you will know this ship, as well as the YT-2400. We should get both

It'd be really nice if a dev would at least acknowledge the shortcomings of privateers. Tell me so I can stop worrying if it's gonna be fixed or not

Well, at least we still have deep space, but only after master.


Personally, I think PvP is so ****ed up right now it's not even worth it. If you have at least 2 guns, then you win. If you both have at least 2 guns, it's a tie (happens to me all the time.) Anywho, yeah, everything they fix breaks three more things.

Nope, gotta pick a side at the station when you choose Deep Space. Just not right. It effectively ends my roleplay.

Iam curently a Freelance pilot 4444, I have found several of the required missions unbeatable untill play balance is fixed. One time a wave of 4 ties cameabout every minet, another Tie Agressors would kill with thier aft weapons in1-3 hits.Another mission was suposed to assist hutt ship in a fight and all they would do is sit in a cluster and spin. After many deaths the Devs mostly fixed there problems. NowI am Faced with a Gunship that kills me in about 1 sec.I have failed this mission about 30 times,I can usually kill the Modified Tier 5Tie Interceptor Ace, the Tier 4 Advanced Ties and the 3Tier 4Firespreys.I am unable to find other pilots skilled and willing to help.

These missions are required to advance and you do not get paied if you fail.

Priveteer Pilot Comands

IFF Transponder Scramble- Can save you if your lucky, but dose not always work.

Emergency Thrust- Helps to out run persuers , expecially with boosters, but many ships are as fast or faster even if Ethrust & Boosters are going, at least i have see distances close in warp speed.

Pirate Trap-just brings moreenemies in to fight.

Energy Pulse- Took me a while to figure out how to take advantage of this, but now that i have , it is great.

Jabbas Thiem Park requirement- i had fun doing this , but i had planed on doing it anyway, i can see how this would be dificult and anoing.

Priveteer Pilot would be profitable if it were not for the required missions for progress, if they were play balanced for single players maby they would be alright. but they are not play balanced, many are buged, and you have no other choice . Fly them or do not advance.

Suggested changes

1) fire the Dev who came up with the idea for mission requirements to advance

2) get rid of the mission requirements to advance

3) change it to where a pilot can choose another mission but not advance
