Some guy posted the below about the ongoing master mission debates...
* How is it griefing if you have another option to obtain master skill box.....by grinding out 7.5 million xp. It's not that hard to do. Just takes a while.
* now it would be griefing if you had no other option.

Is this a true statement? I thought you had to do the missions.

Either way, getting 7.5 million for master box Is a waste of time. You get given the mission either way (to get master box).

uh, no you don't. if you have the xp you can get the box. The devs took this into account when they put in the corvette into the kessel zone, as an alternative.
Man I swear...all you guys need to be put on Ritalin. Just because it takes a while to get a master box doesn't mean it's unfair.
Hell the game has only been out for 2 weeks and already in 1 week there was master pilots...that's way too damn fast.

Please god, enlighten me on how I train up without doing the missions, tell me what trainer I need to go to, because all the imperial trainers tell me that im not welcome and I have to go work for the guy that only gives me missions, though all my bars are green and full of xp.

what he means to say is that ONLY the master box you can either do the mission or use the XP. not the ones before

Oh....boy. So im stuck still. Why didnt they make the entire thing like this? I would go back and do the missions just for doing them AFTER I got master.

Confirmation please from a Dev or someone that has done this .... if this is true the current system in place makes sense.

Though I'm inclined to doubt it, has anyone gotten the 7.5mil XP and trained Master Pilot to be *sure* we can do this?
And just so I'm clear on this, you're saying there are TWO paths to master:
1. The master missions, culminating in the Corvette at Kessel
2. "Just" getting 7.5mil XP.
Hmmmm. Not sure I necessarily like either, but it DOES seem more reasonable now. Either way, you have to be a great pilot (or have great pilots as friends) to get Master. Hmmmm. OK. Works for me. At the rate my guildies are going, it'll take the same amount of time either way 
Could we maybe get the master box dropped down to... 5mil?

Ok, how's this:
HE'S LYING!! You still have to do the missions before you can get trained! Therefore placing the master missions in PvP space is an invite to griefing!
