I don't know about anybody else but it bugs the living crap out of me that you don't see the sun or suns you see rising and setting whilst on the planets. I've not been to deep space yet so don't know if they've bothered to add them there. But it's a bit stupid, well beyond stupid you can take off from Tat and look around and see no suns which are a big feature you notice whilst on the ground game. It may seem small deal to some but it pretty pathetic leaving such a obvious part of a solar system out in the space game but include it on the ground game.

I've been wondering about this myself. Where ARE the suns?

Well the Nebula are bright enough for me, even with brightness and gamma turned way down. I don't think I would want to see how bright they would make the suns....

But yes it is wierd

Hmmm... I never really noticed. That's right, there are no suns. Especially for Tatooine, suns are really important.
Of course, they may be on the other side of the planet, too... the side we can't reach.

Just another of the many obvious minor blunders in the game. Star Destroyers that are half-there. Lunar terminators that face the wrong direction (as if there were multiple suns in disparate locations), stars that pass in front of the moons and other orbiting objects.

And yes, I too turned my starship to look at the suns, and found none there.

And while I'm at it - there is WAY TOO MUCH nebulosity - it just looks silly, not like space, but like some fantasy land.

Oh, and the star streaks in the jump to hyperspace cutscene look ridiculously fake - and the exit from hyperspace is also completely wrong - LOOK AT THE MOVIES!! THE EXAMPLES ARE THERE!

actually......there are suns, the only thing is they look MUCH smaller than when ur on the planet. In tatooine space when i go up i see a bunch of stars and then two close together andrelatively small suns that are about 5x brighter and about 3x bigger than the other stars. so i think those are supposed to be them. the only explanation would be that the atmosphere cause a fisheye distortion making the suns seem alot bigger?? lol i dunno, but i do see suns, just alot smaller than what u see on the planet.

I agree with the nebula thing...i mean, they are cool and all...but EVERY planet is surrounded by multi-colored clouds of space dust? In some systems i feel like i am on some Beatles induced acid trip...Lucy really IS in the sky with diamonds!

and we need the suns damn it...it would add a bit so somthing to the game...In other space sims, it would always suck when you are in a dog fight and are blinded when you accidently turned into the glar of the nearest star...

It is kinda weird because when your in space your on the sun side of the planet because its illuminated. If you werent on the sun side i immagine it would be like the dark side of the moon(not pink floyd). The suns should be out there for sure.

If they were on the other side of the planet, the side we can see wouldn't be illuminated. We'd be on the dark side.

That's where the star destroyers are anyway.
