It's either a stealth fix (someone prolly complained they had to click it) or a bug. Or maybe a money sink since interplanetary shuttle travel has almost been eliminated with player ships. But yea, I've deleted tons of extra tickets because by habit I'm just not used to clicking that button.

Petitions never work sadly. The DEVs immediately ignore a thread with the word "Petition". My advice is to get as many people as possible to /bug this every single day. No matter how times before its been bugged, keep bugging it. This does work sometimes as the DEVs finally get tired of getting them. I will start bugging it everytime I log in.

But your right, it might be set up to continue the money sink that is now lost thanks to JTL. Guess the DEVs never clearly thought this out huh? What a surprize.

If this is in fact a way to recoop the money sink lost, DEVs I strongly suggest you come up with a legimate money sink instead of trying to "trick" people through habits. In most reasonable societies this kind of behavior would have got you thrown in jail.

Alot of threads on here have offered many wonderful ways to create money sinks. Money sinks that not only help the community but also lend to the level or feeling of SWG being Star Warsy. And alot really wouldnt be that hard to implement. So if you want money sinks, create them. Dont use trickery.

Though it doesn't do any good.../sign. It's rather annoying they changed something so little as this and get caught in it almost every time because of habit.

Seriously, I think they did it for a short-time credit sink. They've already acknowledged that there's too much money ingame.

I quite enjoy it actually, specifically because of JTL. When i land on the planet, my ship gets left wherever i land. When i leave that starport, why wouldnt i want a round trip ticket back to where my ship is?

If you can learn to click the box to get a round trip ticket, you can learn to unclick it. Quit being so lazy.

we'll its not so much as a mney sink as JTL actually brought in.....have you ever notices how often you are repairing you're ship? Also the how youo buy Chassis and THEN go to a chassis dealer....i think there are 2 money sinks right there...

Its just a bug that was brought in throught beta but wasn't noticed since we never used normal travel anyway. So now that people who USE planetary travel now notice it so its just a bug. So just keep bugging it and it will get fixed soon enough.
