Thread: Freelancer Rebell?

Ok im so stupid ididt read about the profession before i started it BUT,
i picked freelancer becouse i want to have other stuff them TIE.
BUT now when iam 4-4-3-3 i realise that i cant shoot down any rebells,
i asked a csr in genral chat and he said nop you cant shoot down any
rebells as a freelancer...
Holy "#¤"# this cant be hapening 
Well then i starting to ask my self why cant a freelancer shoot down
rebells only imperial?
So imperial have to faction against them?
I thought as a freelancer i could swing both ways...
But i just cant have the cool faction ships...
So please help me out i need answers. WHY Wwwwhhhyyyyyyyy

Ok, let's clear this up. i don't know why the CSR didn't explain this.
RSF Privateer is imperial-oriented and can shoot down Rebels, but not Imperials.
CorSec Privateer is rebel-oriented and can shoot down Imperials, but not rebels.
Smuggler's Alliance Privateer is truly neutral and can shoot down both rebels and imperials.
I am in Smuggler's Alliance.

Yup I'm a Smugglers Alliance Pilot and I can shoot at anything that moves...

yes smuggler is the way to go.. but remember you have to do 15 missions in jabba palace (theme park) to be albe to meet your tier 3 trainer...

Interesting. I was talking to an RSF guildie, and they say that all imperial ships (besides the ones in the missions) were all white (unattackable).
Are you sure that rebel NPC's (again, not the ones in your missions) are attackable?

As a smugglers aliance (Tier 2) pilot I have personaly picked fights with NPC on both sides of the fence. Note: be careful sometimes their are more than you think lurking inn the great dark of space.

DOH!!
I signed up as RSF, but I'm a Rebel. In order to help my fellow Rebs, I'd have to drop Privateer and re-signup as a Corsec or Smugglers Alliance? Start all over?? I don't know what I should do now. I'm 2232.

I would suspect yes. RSF's cannot attack imperial ships, particularly in Kessel.

Master first, get your nice gear and badge, drop it and use your double-exp master bonus to get back up as a CorSec.
