Greetings,
First, thank you for taking the time to read this,
Second, I'm a Rebel Alliance Pilot 3-2-2-2, I started on Naboo, and now I'm in Dantooine, doing the first borther Eziekal mission.
I was so happy to finly get my X-Wing, when I was asked to help defend a SpyNet base by my Vortex trainer. everything was fine until i reach the part when I need to Inspect "the Blacklight pirate scum" ships at a given waypoint in order to get info about their leader's location! the problem is: I inspected about 200 ships (there is a fast spawn, with some Tier5 ships coming out at thayt waypoint) all with the same result: the ship contains: NOTHING... this is driving me crazy! Please anyone help! I have around 300,000xp stored from this mission alone! I tryined disabling them then inspecting... no use! tried docking... no use...I'm out of tricks!

I found it! you need to inspect a ship called "Blacklight pirate ship", its THE only ship that gives the right data, then disable it and dock.... the mission will end there :-)

My mission wasn't exactly the same (I took the Corellia -> Lok -> Yavin route), but I had a similar mission, with Hutt smugglers. In that case, therre was a specific type of ship among the ships at the wp (All were hutt smugglers, I need Hutt Spice Smuggler), and I got the one with the cargo I needed on about the 3rd or 4th try. I inspected without disabling, as I recall.
The only thought I have is, you were offered three wp, right? Maybe try one of the other two?

It is actuly a forth waypoint, after the three patrol waypoints... a new sub-mission... and the specific ship is called Blacklight Pirate Ship, tier3.
You're right though, I inspected it before disabling it, and it told me that it got the cargo I need.... disabled it then docked... mission was complete! and I made it to Rebel Alliance Pilot 3-2-3-2 :-)

Congrats! I'm really loving the rebel tiers. Tier 3 was so much fun, and I'm liking the challenge of tier 4, so far (Only gotten to do one mission so far).

I aslo had a similar mission, Rebel tier 3 i had to inspect rebel ships for explosive parts that imperials were smuggling in. Well that went good i couldnt figure out what i was doing wrong. For about an hour i kept destroying every ship i scanned that had contraband. Cause i tried to dock with them and it said target refuses. So i blew em away. hahaha well after a while of this i thought hmmm i wonder. So i disabled one and docked ....Tada!! mission complete get jumped by 4 TIE's. But goes to show ya we all have our moments haha.

I finly made it to Rebel Alliance Pilot 3-3-3-3, now I'm stationed on Talus, Dearic. and I'm getting duty mission to fill my first lvl4 box... anyone knows a good spot to grind for lvl4 boxs.... I'm moving realy slow.

patrol point. First i get like 3 nothing ones, and then the endless spawn. Is this where I am supposed to inspect ships? No instructions other than patrol.
