WARPING on space! After several weeks of beta testing and complaining andalmost 2 weeks of gameplay still not RESOLVED !
Its not even a KNOW ISSUE !
And this GREAT FORUM that asked me just now to VERIFY MY MAIL ???!!!!And that when I try to read the BIG Warping
post my CPU shoots to 100% use and obviously dont go anywhere..... not to mention the TERRIFIC search engine with its "Too much searches going on" message.
Not to mention the TONS of bugs we all know there is in the ground.
So the devs are worried about people that dont get to be Master pilot becouse of PVP....
WHAT ABOUT THOSE THAT CANNOT SHOOT A SINGLE SPACESHIP ?????
Resolve problems, dont listem to players whinning please !

I get no warping or lag whatsoever in space. I think it is your connection and your computer. Stop putting the blame where it does not belong.

JTL is running 95% smoothly (unless in a flight where +20 ships are involved when lag is minimal too).
I'm playing from Spain in an American server, my Inet connection is 400/400 SDSL, my pc is a P4 2.4Ghz with 1Gig of RAM and a video card with Ati 9600 256mb (but not a fast core or ram) video card.
I use XP home edition and DirectX 9.1 compatible drivers.
Most of my frineds are running well in space with similar computers. To be honest... You might take a look of your PC performance before tossing all those crap over somebody else's head.

Specs ? Guys you looking like guys from custumer service "Are you sure your modem is connected ?" (while you are online whit them) kind of questions.
But ok :
Amd Athlon 3000
Windows XP sp 1
DSL 512/512 connection
1,5G 400 DDRRam
FX 6800 Ultara graphics card
All with the lastest drives and 9.0c Direct X.
Else I wouldn´t be making any fuzz....
I play from Portugal on Kauri and I dont get much lag on ground except when entering/leaving Naboo and Coronet spaceport.
So am I to blame ? Think twice.

No, we are not from the CSR... we are just trying to know what is causing your problem in order to help you better. Do you want me to cry along with you or trying toprovide you a valid solution?
Change your attitude, make a FULL SCAN (maybe you got a bad hung lately?)... and... maybe sounds stupid but worked great for me: Reduce Nebula's Bright.
I got several "jumps" on my screen while using 50% bright... once I lowered it to 0% (still looking pretty if you get the general crontrast a bit higher) Space is running smoothly. Sweet.
Hope it helps

Full Scan ? Tried that 4 times ... each with a computer restart.
Reduce Nebula Bright ? Dont know will try.
Thanks.

I too get the jumping thing and I have tried everything
my machine specs are well within the norm.
If it where a lag problem or my machine was not running fast enough then surely my game play would be behind the main server and not a couple of seconds ahead of it ? (my ping times to the server are ok no firewall win xp pro sp2 gig of ram amd 3200 proc expensive gc)
This is a bug for some people (not for all) and it appears to be related to the type of hardware you are running.
For some people they don't notice it.
Some people it's a hideous problem.
and some people don't get it at all.
Although I have been told by someone that the devs are hopefully going to be trying something with the next update.
