Items And Loot Archive

I've been out of the game for awhile and now have no idea what any of the now (or old for that matter) loot is worth. What kind of items do I need to keep an eye out for? For example, I just looted some Nightsister armor shards (-10 encumbrance). Are they worth anything, and if so, how much? Can anyone give me a breakdown of what the various kinds of loot are going for?

Best suggestion would be to search through your galaxy's trade forums for auctions of similar items. Prices vary widely between galaxies, plus you can try contacting previous buyers to sell your stuff directly.

For what it's worth, I know that NS shards can be used to make low-encumb composite, but I don't know whether -10 is good, uber, or crap. The price you'd get might also depend on how many identical shards you have (in case multiples are needed for a piece of armor).
