You get some Fiction when you "recover" datadisks now.

1 Corrupt Datadisk
1 Magnetic Reader
1 Magnetic Burner
1 Recovery Software
1 Wiring (looks like a CA tape)

Put all of these in a datadisk repair kit and you'll get a "datadisk" which you can then place inside an "Empty Datapad" and you'll get a datapad with a piece of in game fiction.
