Why would Sony make such a great game but give players such vague directions on how to do stuff?

I know vehicles take damage over time. It is my understanding that this "wear" can be reduced or reversed. I have the artisan skill (first two levels of engineering).

What do I need to do? Are they disposable...you just buy a new one after the current one wears out?

There are garages placed around most major cities, Coronet has one really close to the Starport, Theed's Garage is on the far side of the city, north of the Cloning Center. Use the overhead map (Ctrl-M) if you can't find one.

There is no skill that lets you repair vehicles yourself?

not atm, there is not, it's a way to give cities more of a use, one of many.
