I assume your referring to the repaired Datapads? You need a repaired datadisk which you get from a Datadisk Repair Kit. Put the repaired disk in to the repaired datapad and you'll get some in game fiction to read.

Yeah same here. I thought they would be kinda like having a second datapad to hold WP's and schems, and such. Thats what I would have made them because we could all use extra datapad space at times.

yah i finally repaired a datapad & corrupt disk. Put the disk in the pad & turns into a short story pad, kinda like those junk ones you can loot in space. Totally worthless & not worth fixing for some lame story. BAH!

These datapads should be editable so people can write their own stories, poems, stuff like that and share it with people or someone can just drop by your house and read the disk on your desk.
