I see so many threads announcing they failed on assembly with a limited use schematic. A word of advice to everyone using limited use schematics of any kind, such as recyclers, jetpacks, and AV-21s.
Eat Pyollian Cake before your crafting session. This food increases your chance of success during assembly for the next crafting session. You will almost never fail on assembly after eating this food.
If the limited use schematic supports experimentations, then in addition to eating Pyollian Cake, also drink a Bespin Port. This will increase the chance of success of experimentation.
In addition, you can increase your chance of success of assembly by crafting in a player city that is a "Manufacturing Center". You can increase your chance of success of experimentation by crafting in a player city that is a "Research Center".
Also, be attentive to the rating on your crafting tool and station. The higher the number, the greater the chances of success during assembly and experimentation.

Thanks for all this info, it's good to have it out there. I'm one of those people posting about my own stupidity as I messed up my recycler last night.

arent jetpacks crafted for you? (you just give ingredients....exp/assembly or any other crafting mods has no impact)

Hmmmm...you might right. However, I cannot confirm this since I have never crafted a jetpack.

A droid engineer just drags and drops the components onto a droid in a special room in the DWB. . . there is a time limit for the room, but once the items are all placed, it is automatically made.

I have made loads of the items from the schematics and as far as i know the only thing i loose is the resources and not the schematic

very helpfull info great post!
may seem like stating the obvious to alot of us but for those new to crafting this is INDEED very usefull
