maybe this should be under scouts but i'll ask it here anyways. i recently noticed that before i destroyed a lair i could essentially loot it. when i did this i would collect a sample of some organism(usually insects). i was just wondering what the purpose of this was. is there a profession that uses these specimens or is it pointless to loot lairs?

As far as I see it it is useless.
I have been able to collet like 2 or 3 eggs per lair.
And I don't know what they are good for because the OQ on them really suck.
But who knows. Maybe there is a purpose to it.

Yup, chefs and BE's or anyone in need of a generic organic. Also artisians who 'make a living?' crafting creature habitats need the sampled creatures. So toss the sampled creatures.

"I have been able to collet like 2 or 3 eggs per lair."
The amount looted was increased in the last publish to around 6-10 to improve the supply.
Though, they still don't autostack.

Pardon the formatting... computer sucks...
Is there something wrong with searching lairs? I'm trying to collect eggs but I can't seem to get the "Search Lair" option to pop up. Plus, the spawn rate seems to be almost zero tonight on both Tatooine and Talus.
