Can someone tell me why some of these are grey and with no stats whatsoever? All is says is skill-enhacing attachment and that's it. Do they serve any purpose at all?

I presume you have just looted some from the 2 Mag Seal Containers at the back of the Aakuan caves. The armour and clothing attachments from here are broken and have no skills attached.
I put in a ticket about it a while back and was told it was a 'known issue, devs working on it blah blah blah..."
I even experimented by sticking one in some armour & it just dissapeared but didn't take a socket.
So yes you looted yourself some rubbish I'm afraid

Oh looks like I have looted rubbish too I thought they were suppose to be like that and were blank so as a BE could add summet to them did not realise it was just a case off it was broke
