Items And Loot Archive

Is anyone else getting the feeling of frustration when trying to get the new loot compnents, particulaly blue wiring and feeder tubes? I have put nearly 10 hours a day into swg in the last 2 weeks, 90% of the time looking for the new loot, much of which I have gotten but the % of drop rate for the two items mentioned must be so low it could be considered to be non existent.

I have found it far easier getting krayt pearls and stuff of nightsister elders than getting some of these new loot components so I'd like to ask the devs for an increase in the drop rate for these components (blue wire and feeder tubes), I really don't want to spend any more time hunting these damn components anymore, I've put enough time into this already.

So far I have looted 0 blue wiring and 0 feeder tubes after nearly 140 hours of hunting and what must be hundreds or even thousands of dead npc's, please fix this

Yeah I know what you mean, what I can't understan is why these components are so hard to find to make something that is of such limited use. I could understand it if it was for RIS armor or some uber weapon but these things should be easy to make and easy to find the components for.

I looted 2 feeder tubes in one trip to the tusken bunker, although I think they may have come off of the stormptrooper spawn I killed off on the way there. Couldnt believe it when someone offered me 50k for one, I only kept it to stick on the bazaar for 250c or something in case any novice crafters could use it! A right touch as at the time I was down to my last 8k & really struggling

PS I've still got one left if anyone wants it..... (cue 'this isn't the auction forum' comments )

Really, you have looted loads of blue wiring from "priates" on Talus? I think only Binyare hooligans drop blue wire, well in reliable amounts. In the hours I played killing Binyares at the Binyare POI, I have only looted one blue wire from a Binyare hooligan once.

I found a basicly neverending spawn of themwithin about 500mof dearic and spent about an hour there and got loads of them(blue wires thats is and loads of other stuff)but i had no idea what they where for at the time. I hardly ever got any loot off the pirates at the poi.

Yeah I've been trying to find the feeder tubes of the tuskens, both at the fort and the bunker. I've spent several buff sessions at the fort and in total have probably visited them both 2 or even 3 times a day, not a single one although I did get what must be close to 50 colored crystals (which sell rather nicely on my vendor).

For blue wiring I have been to the binyare bunker SE of Dearic numerous times paying special attention to the hooligans as I'd read only they drop them. Ackew are you sure it's blue wire and not red, I've not heard anyone else get them from the spawns near there? I've spent hours there too and only ever looted red wire, plus the never ending supply of lesser loot which gets deleted on the spot. The problem for me isn't knowing where to get it, I know where to get most of the loot in the game, believe me I have read nearly every post concerning the new loot for tips on getting this the most godly of all loot.

If anyone ever gets any on Wanderhome I would gladly pay 50k per piece, yes 50k!!!

Like I say, I stopped en route to the bunker to kill off a few stormtroopers & they kept respawning, I killed em til the spawn was dead & I've got a feeling this may have been where I looted the feed tubes. Of course, killing stormtroopers has got a little harder since then......
