Can anyone explain why one of the Rancors I looted recently had a laser rifle...

Unless someone did attempt the old stickthe laser rifleup the Rancor's........ ..... and pull the trigger...

yesterday i looted off an enraged rancor a mabari armorweave pants and vibroblade.....so i found another unfortunenate noob huntin rancors
