Thread: Do Not Put Items Into New Technical Printer Kits

I looted 4/5 components needed for the Picture Printer. Added these to the kit and they vanished. Content says 0/5. Hold the items till the bug is fixed. /bug report submitted.
Same thing goes for the Viewscreen Printer. Content says 0/5.
Maybe I'm doing something wrong but...drag and drop should either put the item in the kit or simply not allow it. *shrugs*

it still works. although it says 0/5, it remembers. you just need to remember what componets you put in!

This happens with all the new loot kits. once you put all the items in it will disappear and you will get your crafted item. The problem is that if you put some of the items in and then log out, all the item you put in will poof on you and you have to start from scratch. I suggest waiting till you have all the components and then put them in all at once. Thats what I do and I have never had a problem.

I have this list for the kits.
Picture Printer:
Paint Cartridge
Paint Dispersal Unit
Blan Canvas
Broken Hand-Held Viewscreen (Tan)
That's 4 items. Umm..the Picture Printer thingie says 0/5. Am I missing one?
Viewscreen Printer:
Paint Cartridge
Paint Dispersal Unit
Blank Canvas
Broken Hand-Held Viewscreen (Gray)
Technical Viewscreen Reader
Both of these kits require the Hand-Held's? I think one of these kits ate a regular Broken Something or Another too.

Dont put items in it until you have all of them, they seem to empty at server reset

Nope, the unit is confused
It should read 0/4 for the tan viewscreens. Kel

also the grey screens go into the viewscreen printer and the brown ones go into the picture printer

Tan Hand-Helds drop off Meatlump Buffoons outside of Coronet.
Gray Hand-Helds drop off Binyares on Talus and Spice Fiends on Tat.

These I actually had. For some odd reason I tend to keep worthless junk. Want a broken microscope? I could outfit a chemistry lab.

You dont need a technical reader for the one that looks like a ship deed
Ship deed one:
Brown/black broken viewscreen
Paint disperser
Paint cartridge
Blank canvas
muon gold one:
gray broken viewscreen (looks like a gameboy)
Paint disperser
Paint cartridge
Blank canvas
viewscreen technical reader
And don't assemble until you have all 5, all components in it get eaten at server reset.

Ah right, can you make the RIS armor poster with it or is that a normal loot?
