I got the Metal Recycler Schematic's from Canyon Corsair's on Lok.
I got the Small Power Motor's from Canyon Corsair's on Lok.
I got the Heating Element's from Binayre's on Talus.

I did Canyon Corsair's from 207-222 Destroy Missions on Lok, for their parts, Schematics.
And Binayre's on Talus, 99-145 Destroy Missions for the Heating Elements.

Making one was really easy - but using it is another matter entirely. 
I think I'm just missing something obvious, but how does it work? Besides the move/pickup commands on the radial, there is one option to "open" and one to toggle the type of resource (ferro/non-ferro). I can't drop anything in or on it, and I just can't figure out how the dang thing works.
What am I missing?

PS - I have to say I was disapointed by how it looked - it looks like a dinky Starship part

Confirmation: It took me about an hour or so of running 200+ missions and I got a metal recycler schematic.

LOL. I answered my own question.
The recyler needs to be in your inventory to use it - I thought it would be usable on the floor of my shop.
Oh well.

So what is the Puliverizer for if not in the schem figure its new loot since this is the first ive seen of it?
