I have a huge pile of locked containers that need opening, and was wondering if they still contain the same crap since the loot revamp or id there some of the new items in there ?

The items inside the container probably haven't changed. Unless the contents are determined when the container is sliced.

is it true that some of the containers have broken viewscreens in them it has been so long since i got one opened i cant remember

I was wondering about this also. I think someone mentioned somewhere that they did infact find the grey broken viewscreens, but I'd imagine it would take quite a few containers to be able to see if that's true. Hell I killed Binyares all day long yesterday and didn't find ANY grey viewscreens like they have been reported to drop.....there is only 1 other place I know of that has dropped these and that really sucks because it's often camped...
Anyone know of a "valid" drop for these? Also killed swoopers and swooper leaders for a couple hours on Corellia without 1 dropping, either these are increasingly hard to find or they don't drop from these spawns....

Yes, the locked containers now contain broken viewscreens, both the orange and grey. In opening 300+ containers thus far, these are the only two items I've found usable in regard to the Pub12 loot.
