these are two things I'd like to see in the game as far as headwear goes I believe that SWG is severely lacking. I'd really like to see some western headwear Cowboy hats, fedoras. that kind of thing. Also I think that a display dummy would be great, were you put clothing/armour/weapons on the dummy & it only counts as 1 item towards the houses total item limit instead of 5 - 12. and unlike using vendors as displays with the dummies you could remove the item you put onto it so you could nicely display that set of RIS armour you got sitting around & not have to worry about losing it forever.

Well, yes, we are in lack of headwear but cowboy hats a bit "eartish". Please no to rednecks already. Need more Star Warsy things that we are in lack of , more than headwear. And if you put armor it looks like it is on a dummy already. I didn't understand what you mean in that stuff.

Do you realise how sad to burry R.A of Intrepid (PRE-PUB9 Jedi), S.A of Infinity (POST-PUB9 Jedi) | .. and nameless 18 other living breathing characters?

the number of items a building can hold is limited. the dummy w/armour & what-not would only take 1 item slot instead of many. Also not all cowboys are rednecks & even if they were, what is wrong with rednecks ??

Dummy - way to display clothing on a "body" without creating vendors. Not terribly useful.

Cowboy Hats - I agree, too "Earth." However, we do need more headgear in the game.

This probably should be in the Tailor forum, but I'll add a few clothing related items I think should be added to the game:

"Patches" - symbols that can be added to clothing to customize them

Eyewear - I haven't seen Collector's Edition eyewear in a long time, so it's probably safe to bring these into the game for "normal" folks now.

Belts with storage pouches - More non-backpack storage. Backpacks sometimes just look ugly with certain outfits. Luckily, I'm a freelance pilot, so I have that mercenary bandolier, but there should be more types of this kind of thing available.

Planet-specific clothing - Fashions vary from planet to planet. This is especially true in the movies. We could have more "deserty" types of clothing - heavy robes, face masks to protect against sandstorms, etc. - for Tatooine, and more "artsy" types of clothing - ornate dresses, vests, etc. - for Naboo, and so forth. Maybe even add appearance modifiers to this, and factor appearance into NPC interactions, similar to the Xbox game Fable.

Personally, im glad I didnt buy the special version of galaxies to get the eyewear. I saw all the ones they give you on my buddies charachter and they all look totally gay. Who wants to cruise around in shooting glasses? I guess they might look fitting if you have a mullet.

I'm guessing you were never a tailor or ran a tailor shop.. Tailors are severely limited in many ways..

1. we have way too many clothes and colors and too few space in houses to display them - not counting furnitures

2. again, we have way too many colors and clothes.. and they HAD to nerf merchant.. wtg devs..

Tailor is one of the most complained about crafting profession by other players because we're always accused of not having what people want in our vendors.. if only you knew the enormity of our schematics and colors..

dummies would be a VERY welcomed addition to Tailoring.. we would finally be able to furnish our shops! Especially in the face of the fact that there are many new beautiful decorations ingame now that would greatly enhance a tailor shop..

but of course, knowing the devs, they would give us the dummies, and make it only hold 2 items <rolls eyes>

The Dummies would be great additions to the game! I like to display several outfits and suits of armor in my house as well as many people do and it all takes up so much space that it can make it hard to decorate in the game. As long as the dummy took up just one item space and can hold a full suit of armor or clothing it would be a godsend.

They did not nerf merchant in any way, they fixed a long standing problem which allowed people to drop the profession and still use its most important abilities. They added a lot to the merchant profession by doing that, what they nerfed was people who exploited the problem with the merchant profession. Before that "nerf" you could pick up merchant place a vendor and put it on the map, after that you could drop the profession and retain its most important abilities.

I'm glad they fixed the vendors to skills issues with merchant but for some master tailors 4000 items is not enough I've had to take merchant with my alt just to carry on stocking BE clothing.

Back on subject I would love to have dummies to display my clothing on. Using vendors is a big waste of clothing and undessing them is a nightmare!

Not sure about cowboy hats, but a wide-brimed hat that isn't the sunguard would be a welcome addition to my schematics list.

the dummy would be a great thing

as for the hats I too think it's too "earth", but I'd love to see hats like imp uniform hats but non factionnal.

cowboy hats to 'earth' ?? what makes everyone think that there were not 'space cowboys'?? /startmusicSteveMillerBand

In SWG we can milk animals, search for eggs, set up camp, ride horse like creatures, tote pistols, raise tame and sell animals, etc.

I say we need cowboy hats!
