I feel sorry for someone so uneducated that they think competition only extends to athletics.
The response I received was pretty appalling. The CSR told me that spawn camping was, in fact, allowed and that if I wanted the looting rights, my only option would be to outdamage the other players. For all of you that have repeatedly said that camping was against the rules, you've left me confused. It's entirely possible (and probable) that I encountered an incompetent CSR, but I was actually infuriated. All of this camping honestly sounds like griefing with nicer name. The CSR's aren't doing anything about it, yet the devs are constantly trying to find ways of reaching some sort of equilibrium in terms of the amounts of credits floating around the galaxy. So, really, you have the CSR's allowing people to hoard loot, thereby amassing obscene amounts of credts, and the devs trying to implement things to disperse these very same credits that all of the same people continue to amass. Score one for the CSR's. They're definitely winning. Their unwillingness to actually enforce the rules that were set forth is truly, truly disgusting.

Teams are there to compete with other teams. Its the natural progression of a static spawn with uber loot and extremely logical. I don't know why you can't understand this.

In SWG everone has the option to grind the appropriot template and aquiregood equipment to be able to compete at the nyax spawn. The only inequality is casual gaming and individual ability to make enough credits to buys uberweapons and join a good group. There nothing unfair about this though.Its very clear that you want the reward without putting in the effort. Get your own team or go loot other crap.
Again, it is not beyond my comprehension to see and know about why you do what you do and why you feel it is justified. It's just thatI completely disagree with your notion that it is strictly a competion for the best loot in the game. Your idea of team play makes it unfair for those that cannot be a part of a team. Your idea of team play makes it so that the team with the most players at a loot point will always trump others. The casual gamer has no chance against the "gangs". The gangs usually work through shear numbers and sometimes even use intimidation through their remarks thatusually tell others that the loot to be had is theirs and only theirs and it will be that way 24/7 if they choose it to be so. That's the sad part.
The casual gamer has no business getting the rewards of the powergamer. Its like a dishwasher getting paid a brain surgeon's salary, sorta communistic. Again, I don't know how many times i have to say this but if you want the ultimate rewards then be prepared to put in the appropriate effort to attain them.
No one is asking for equal reward; they just want a chance to go after some loot. Just like my niece would love to have a chance to buy a Britney Spears concert ticket at face value with her measley allowance; but, there's usually a team of "ticket brokers" who prevent that from happening.
Unlike buying large venue tickets at face value, everyone has a chance to kill nyax. Grind rifleman, swordsman or jedi, buy million dollar equipment and join a good guild or group and try out damaging others. Otherwise go play with meatlumps or whatever but don't complain that you're a casual gamer.

ok. Someone in a competition any competition would be considered to be an athlete in that field. An athlete doesn't have to play football or basketball to be one.
So in the end spawn campers are just dorks not athletes in this demented "competition" you think spawn camping is.

Athlete =A person possessing the natural or acquired traits, such as strength, agility, and endurance, that are necessary for physical exercise or sports, especially those performed in competitive contexts.
I hope english is not your native language cause I gotta tell ya, what you've said is unbelievable. You don't have to be an athlete to be a competitor. Chess players compete against each other. Pepsi and Coke compete against each other. Go back to school and stop thinking that you deserve something without puting in the appropriate effort.

Since we’ve devolved down to semantics, wouldn’t you report this thread to a moderator and not a CSR? Regardless of whether they are athletes or competitors of course.
