Thread: Tag team Spawn Campers....I've had enough.
BTW, let's keep the conversation out of the gutter and let's just stick to the points. No need for inferences that are less than kind.

Should a gamer who spends his life playing this game get more loot for his time? Sure. But, let him do it alone, without a team. If he's spent millions on his character then he will most likely win the battle against almost every other solo character that's vying for the same loot. The guy who spent millions will outdamage the guys who have not. So, why does he need a "team" to go after this loot? Teams can be fun, I've grouped with people before, some old some new, its' always fun. It's about the interaction with others, not the mentality of a mob that's appealing.I see some of the "teams" on here act as if they own the joint because as a group, they are more powerful than any of the others. A group of 5 is more powerful, in terms of getting loot than a 100 solo players.
It's the fact that they team up to monopolize certain areas of the game, like loot, that really bother me. Monopolies are not good. There are laws against it in fact.

I meant Spawn not nest...& Yes Kryat spawns are no different to any other, two will spawn, they die & 2 more spawn, they die & so on....
4 - 5 Spawns all up..

I've never been to Nyax, but I will be going tonight. I doubt I will get the loot, but I will make myself the biggest nuisance to the macro-looting whores that are there.

This practice is now frowned upon in the industry. Many companies who sell tickets for events have put obstacles into place to help prevent such occurances. I hope SOE will follow suit very soon.

Please, you don't have to spend millions to be a master brawler/sword and go out and solo anything. It's not about bieng the best as far as pve, for that it's simply a matter of the right template.

No one is gonna make millions from loot if all have access to it. A living yes but no longer the making gagillions of credits for loot. That doesn't sound so bad to me. What are you really gonna do with that much credits? Ebay? You don't need billions to enjoy the game.
Huh?? have you not a clue what I was saying? My point was if everyone had access to uber loot then that uber loot wouldn't be worth anything. Don't expect a trained team to step aside and let you have a chance at a few million worth of attachments. Thats rediculous. If you wanna see nyax then see him and leave but don't expect to get his uber loot without puting in some effort.

The one thing I agree with you on. There does need to be uber loot. That incredibly rare stuff that gives you a goal in the game. BUT, it should not be coming from one npc who is perma-camped by whoever has the largest guild.
I agree that static spawns of uber loot probably aren't the best thing for this game but thats beside the point. People in this thread expect to skip into kill nyax and leave with uber loot. Thats not how uber loot works. Uber loot is uber loot because its toughto get. Dont expect to just let others give you a kill lol which i find hilarious. Its like asking a professionalathlete for 50 thousand dollars for no apparent reason other than the fact that you think you deserve the money as much as someone who've spent their life perfecting a skill to get to the point of wealth.

MMO's are for all players who have different interests. From the casual gaming crafter to the hardcore gaming loot Wh0re. And god bless you crafters cause w/o you I couldn't enjoy doing what I enjoy in game.

There are low levels of competition and high levels of competition in this game. Don't take away the high levels just because you can't compete.
No one is talking about taking away the high levels, only talking about making it so everyone can enjoy this content.
if by "everyone can enjoy this content" you mean loot millions of dollars of uber loot then your wrong. Don't expect to get uber loot with ease. Don't tell me you just wanna have the experience of killing nyax lol. Thats like saying I just want the experience of killing a ns elder when you're just an artisan. Well get out there grind swordsman/tk, get an uber scythe and then try to kill an elder. Don't expect to not do the preparation and have things fall on your lap.

Face it guys. Its not nyax your after. You wanna be rich and get all the uber loot except you don't want to put the effort in to get to that point.
To me it sounds like you are describing yourself here. Most of us just want to be able to do something rewarding and then leave with are prize, not hog it all day to make billions which seems to be your attitude
Tell me you want to kill nyax for the experience of killing another npc, something that im sure you've done thousands of times before. NO, you want uber loot without putting in the effort. If you want to do something rewarded then do a'akuaan missions and get +3 to +6 tapes. Don't come to an uber spawn with uber loot and expect others to let you have it. I've never used the word carebear before but if I did, this would be the time.

But, the only way to end camping such as this is to Instance the POI's in a manner similar to the Corvette. Timers on the instances could prevent individuals from accessing the POI more than once every 24hours, making loot camping for profit a loosing proposition.
This has been a long term problem, and while noises have been made saying that the problem would be looked into, we've seen nothing yet.
My only suggestion is judicious use of the /report command, especially if these idiots are dumb enough to actually say something that supports the allegations of camping or denial of access.

if casual gamers were able to get the rewards of a power gamer then this game would just be an elaborate chat room. It sucks for people who work alot or have alot of other obligations but its stupid to ask for equal reward without equal effort.
Teams are there to compete with other teams. Its the natural progression of a static spawn with uber loot and extremely logical. I don't know why you can't understand this.
