this guy about summed up what the basic belief is about people such as yourself. no matter how much you try to justify or rationalize your greediness, the more ignorant and selfish you look. nothing much else to say because it doesn't deserve the effort.
Don't try to turn the tabels when it is obvious who is being greedy, it makes you look foolish. If I understand him correctleyhe isn't saying he wants to stoll in there uncontested and get millions. He is saying he doesn't like selfish people taking the spawn over and over, and not sharing it. Again this all comes down to whether the people are mature and nice enough to share.

Honestly, your attitude and the attitude of the original poster are good displays of examples of why this game is dying fast. Instead of being able to work on stuff that would really matter (finding a group dynamic that works, establishing a GCW, finding a PvP system that actually works, adding content) the devs have to find ways to placate the populace because loot campers are ruining the game for the masses. Not that I really want to bump this post full of ignorance anyways, but let me try to have you all understand this... I am a vet myself, I bought the game at launch, got a computer that could handle it 2 months later, and only bothered to join the forums when I did because at least it wasn't a total waste of my time, like getting buffed, getting friends buffed, getting a group together and going to a perma-camped spawn always is. If I want an attachment, I should have a reasonable chance to go out in the galaxy with a decent template and have some chance to get one myself, rather than having to mortgage my lifesavings in-game to pay some worthless, no-life, loot-wh0re that has absolutely nothing better to do with their time or their life than to sit at the same spawn day-in and day-out killing the same imaginary MOB for the same imaginary credit. I shouldn't have to make my template around you and your supposed "uber L337n3ss", just because you have no imagination to actually try to enjoy the game. A game which, by the way, you are doing more than your fair share to flush right down the toilet with your ignorance and avarice (look em up), which do nothing but splinter the player base and ruin other players' gaming experiences. you want some stranger to share millions of dollars worth of attachments? I really don't get it. Can you name anywhere else in this game where complete strangers give each other millions of dollars worth on a regular basis without anything in return?
We aren't talking about kill stealing a night sister elder because there are lots of elders spawning around dath, especially after the last patch. We are talking about one static spawn that drops uber loot on a regular basis.

You might not have heard of it....it's called common courtesy. And those "millions of dollars" you so passionately speak of are btw, imaginary credits on a game that you are playing with 1000's of other people FYI. No we are not talking about the same situation as KSing an NS elder, Nyax drops more often, is easier for the casual-gamer to handle, and basically a "MOB for everyone" that no one with the sole exception of the "ub3r l007 wh0r3z" anymore have any chance of getting anything from. So the devs best and only option, because people like you play an MMOrpg like you are the only ones in the galaxy "worthy" of teh uber-loot, is to instance these places/spawns just so the majority of the people in this game have more gameplay options and are not restricted to the game that people like you feel they should be playing.

i don't see how mob-hogging is earning? i mean like i said it's a morality issue, just share with some other people, you don't have to be greedy! if you camp a spawn over and over, get some good stuff and you see some other people wanting to get some decent loot too why not just be civil about it and share? it's not about getting "uber" loot without earning it.... earning it shouldn't consist of fighting over a spawn with 2 other greedy people who want everything all to themselves.... obviously you are too ignorant to understand this concept, so i will just leave it as that. and trust me, like i said i don't have a problem getting loot, under your system of "earning", i "earn" all of my own loot by outdamaging spawn camping chumps like you easily.

where is the greed?
on the topic of someone saying "that hard loot is for people that work hard..
if someone is sitting around a poi just killing every spawn, that isnt hard work. the hard work was getting enough experience and skills so you actually could kill these spawns. hard work is not getting buffed and macro attack/looting everything that attacks.

You have no clue of the consquences that would occur if competition were replaced by "common courtesy" There would be no reason to play accept to log in a talk to friends. I share with my friends, I give lots to my friends, I help my friends and have fun doing it, but I compete with others. And of course I help strangers out but I don't give random people I don't know millions of dollars. Thats what drives this game and any other game. Competition.
I'll say it again, UBER LOOT IS NOT FOR EVERYONE. The fact that nyax is easily beaton has no precedence over the fact that he drops the most uber loot in the game.
And also, I'll say this again, easy static spawns that drop uber loot is not good for this game but its live so we have to deal. There are many other non static spawns that drop uber loot if you dont want to compete for the particular loot that nyax spawns.

That's a fair question that no one has bothered to answer. You just say you’re supposed to share. When 100 people want the same item, same single mob, what exactly is the sharing etiquette we are supposed to be using?

The rules of the game are. "It's a competition." They are coded that way the CSR's and the EULA say it's that way and the reality of the situation make it that way. That is the resolution to above question. Competition.
If the dev's make it a competition, the rules say it's a competition, and by definition it is one, how is coming here and saying despite all evidence to the contrary, it's not a competition and you're supposed to give me some loot, not greed? No one here is without greed.
But some of us can get beat out of loot and walk away saying, "good game." We don't start calling people names and threatening to call a CSR on people. We eat our pride and move on to something else or come back with the tools necessary to win. I’m sure no one in this thread is guilty of this type of bad sportsmanship, but there sure are a lot of bad sports out there.
And some good ones as well. It’s amazing how much more fun this game is when it hits you, “Hey, all these people keep competing with me, it must be a competition.” It’s so much nicer to embrace the situation as it is instead of how you want it to be. To have civil conversations in these situations instead of a bunch of name calling. To be a good sport instead of a victim.

Actually I`m from Bloodfin, and once upon a time I discussed a fire spider with Cergo/Liander. My T21 won a duel against his pike hands down. There was no long thread started by him, like "make this rifleman shareloot with me, etc, etc, etc". He just went to other spawns/looked for better pike in forums, etc. - i.e. positive attitude ("I need loot so I'll work for it"), instead of your screams ("Give me the cheap method to beat those guys with multimillion weapons so I'll bring my novice brawler and get +25 block CA").
There is a method: work hard, accumulate credits, get AAs/CAs for speed cap, get some good weapons, try again.
Another method: be good, accumulate a large group of trustworthy friends, try again.
/salute to a few defenders of competition.

What a load of crap! I am an "old timer" and definitely feel that these statements are from someone that needs to GET A LIFE! Come on, we all pay our $15/month/account.
Next you're going to tell us that "old timers" shouldn't have to earn as much XP to earn a skill.
"Old timers" have been rewarded for their time by SOE in terms of vetern awards, beta test awards, holiday presents, etc. In addition, you "old timers" have presumely earned skills, badges, etc.
