They are not "available" to me in the way that i can go to any shop or web shop to get it. Come on, this is bull. The pre-order was for US marked only. Same as for the SE SWG. I dont care for glases or the speeder, i got a good speeder. Just as allways US get all the perks and EU dont get 0. This is the way it is, if you pay extra for the SE SWG ok you get a pair of glases. But as allways it more more more. Give it a rest..

preordering JTL was the best ever, the ability to be able to drive around dath and get them destroyed by nightsisters all day is awesome, no more walking back to the outpost. just /flashspeeder and I get a new one

You know that brings a good question to mind for me how many SE players are still around? Are we a dwindling minnority in this game? If so perhase that is why SOE hasn't offered anything for us SE players. Out of all the players I know in game I know only 2 other SE players. If that is the case I can understand them not offering us any thing but if they were it may bring a few of them back to the game. The again it may only bring back a marginall fraction of the original SE players. Oh and quite frankly I dont give a flying rats a$$ that you cann't get the SE out side of the US though luck. I cann't get japaness games, anime, or martial art flicks from a retailer and I aint whinning little a little snott.

I agree... we need something else. I paid 30$ more originally for my special edition. And I know for a fact all the whiners are those that do NOT have the SE. I can't stand this "I should be able to get anything in the game if i put the time" crap. Dish out extra bucks and you can get it. This is a business. Real money talks.
It's a lot easier for me to make money in RL than IG, and I'd like my money for the SE to give me back something. These goggles are essentially worth 2 months of game time. And no one got it for the booklet and the lame figurine, it was always about the "exclusive in-game item". Googles, bah.

Ya, but having a flash speeder at any time to replace any vehicle blown up anywhere in the galaxy is infinitely more better what SE got.

The idea that those 'lucky few' should then continue to get further free items throughout the life of the game gets a big /thumbsdown from me.
i totally agree. anyone who gets tricked into the "special edition" thing is a fool. sorry, but anyone knows that thats just a market trick. you got the goggles, and thats all the special content will ever be. the devs arent EVER going to invest more time into pacifying anyone that was tricked into buying a more expensive copy of the game. i hate to be harsh, but thats the way it is. you got duped. if you want more special content, wait till the next special edition with capes comes out.

I do not mean to be rude, but they promised a special edition in-game item(not plural).
When, it comes downe to it, you all truly payed for all the little odds and ends in the box like the mini-sculpture and book...and you also recieved cool in-game glasses! Tailor's in the game can not even craft glasses(loot or pre-given prof. schematic), so it stands out as something unique
When it comes down to it, we all pay the same subcribtion fee every month! You all payed for the extra's items(listed above)...and that is what you got. So, how far at the time could $20 bucks get you(cost between special and normal editions at launch)...years worth of rare loots only those who brought the special edition could get...nope
I think that what they gave you was very fair.

Personally I as a SE edition owner would be happy with just the Flash Speeder at this point. I like many others could'nt Pre-Order the expansion so I guess I will never get the ability to spawn speeders out of thin air eh? Oh but I can look like a goof with my glasses that take up inventory space, cant be sold, an if I wear them I cant use a Helmet. Nice.

They never offered any additinal content, just an "exclusive in-game item".
It would be silly to offer new content for just a small portion of the subscribers. The SE didn't sell very well - as it's still on some store shelves a year and a half after release (I actually picked one up on amazon just for the book for like $30 awhile back).
You got your free stuff, and - for now - the only eyewear in the game. To expect more is unrealistic.

I live in Sweden and pre-ordered JtL at Gamestop, they shipped a special version to Europe that had no beta invitation, but I was already in beta anyway. It was availableto europeans all right, butstill, we should not have to pay alot more to get it, it ended up costing twice as much as in the US.
I ordered the SE from gamestop too so that was also available.

To every one out there who says "well I live in Europe and I couldn't get an American SE or pre-order JTL" and to those who say "I was able to order it but I had to pay a lot more." TOUGH. If I want a game that only came out in Japan I have to try to buy it import and THEN get a mod-chip and install it into my console, and if you do that with the X-Box your blocked from Live, and guess what I'm not wining. So what you had to pay a little more thats trade economics for you. What I'm saying here is I think it's a little anoying that we pay 20 more for a game that really doesn't give us any thing diffrent. That all!! So get over you're selves and find another thread to bother with your insentint wining. Better yet start your own.
