heh, I'm not sure if we can push too much for Jedi specific loot but it would be nice.

But fyi, 2 patches were not dedicated to Jedi.

One patch was dedicated to nerfing them and the other was dedicated to people who were not Jedi. Infact, the 2nd patch with the village was more content for non-Jedi than actual Jedi. There was great loot and you get enhancements for your regular profession.

I agree too much attention was paid to Jedi (and JTLS for that matter) but we don't tell the devs how to run their game. If anything I would have rathered they did a Jedi revamp at the same time as the CURB.....they really should have just left Jedi alone and never introduced that blasted FRS system that all players agreed has effected PvP in some way.

I would love to see that sort of love spread out to everyone. Some sort of themepack type quest for every prof and faction in the game.

Perhaps as atkayou would have to face wave after wave of enemies that give you massive ammounts of wounds and the goal would to be to meditate the wounds away between waves to complete the mission. Pikeman might have to kill alot of enemies within an alotted time frame and the best way to accomplish it would be by using AE attacks. BH's may have to hunt down and kill marks that increase in power as the quest goes on. etc etc.

After completion of the themepark you would be rewarded with an item that would not only help your chosen prof but would also signify to others that you are of the top of your prof. Perhaps tka could be given a unique looking set of handwraps (that even trandoshan and wookiees can wear) that may add +5 to melee def. And BH's could receive a 1 use, non-factory weapon schematic. etc etc.

This would not only given the jedi their special item or article of clothing but would also give the rest of the community something to be proud of as well and serves to make every prof feel like the have a niche in the greater gaming community.

Great post and great idea.

If only I could get a job with sony to help speed the process along of fixing many bugs. So that neat additions and content could be added to the game.

some people just don't get what i'm trying to say. They think that by making this suggestion that it MUST be one whole patch JUST for the jedi which it wouldn't have to be at all. There isn't much for a jedi though in the game other than crystals.

Rebel specific loot? i believe there are posters and what not that only drop off ST's rigth now.
Imperial specific armor? what about ST armor and our lil AT-ST?
Skill mods for the masses? wow sorry but i thought thats what AA's and CA's were for.

the fact is that theres still alot more 'stuff' in game for non jedi than for jedi. People think that just because jedi are in the game that everything else is forgotten. Well i can tell you they arn't, just wait.

Jedi specific loot? How about Imperial specific loot? I would love to be able to loot and use things that only Imperials could have and, if you were not an Imperial, you could not attain or trade for. If you were an Imperial and had the item, then went rebel, it would automotically be deleted from your inventory/house/bank/etc.

It could be things like unique pieces of armor, weapon enhancers (because Imps use the best things), motivational posters, data cards, actual holo projectors and what not.

Oh wait, you hear that huge roar in the background? That's from all of the rebels mad because there is something in the game they can't use (look at all of the old ATST posts). Now, let's take a segment of the population even smaller and give them specific things AFTER they already had two patches TOTALLY devoted to them, which no other profession has had (the droid/chef/ID revamp involved everyone because these wares get sold). You don't think the roar would be louder.

Y'know what, I'm all for giving jedi one more patch. This one will give them the saber TEF back (something you new jedi know nothing about, but still seem to complain).

Time to dork out once again. The imperials did not have or use the best things. Imperial might is measured through its navy and stormtroopers. The Empire has two major strategies: It creates superweapons to cow the squeamish into submission (evidenced by the star destroyers, super star destroyers, etc) and throws massive numbers ofexpendable troops and dogfighters (Tie-Fighters have no hyperdrive, no shielding, justgreat numbers and speed) against its enemies.

Playing as a rebel, I really wouldn't care if Imperials had imperial-only loot. Theissue with the ATST wasn't that it was a cool item that rebels couldn't use. The issue was that it was unbalancing. Ifjedi-only or imperial-only loot doesn't cause imbalance in the game, that's fine by me.

One thing more. If I hear another idiot claiming that the last two publishes were totally for the jedi, I'm gonna puke on their shoes. The last two publishes were for theplayers (let meunderline, boldface, uppercase andstick some arrows around that)----->PLAYERS<------ who wanted to be jedi. Quit pretending thatthose publishes affected only a small minority of the population. People, whether they wanted to be jedi or not, realized that hologrinding was damaging to the game. The first jedi publish did away with hologrinding. The second revamped the profession. Yeah, there are several professions that needrevamping. Yeah, there are numerous bugs that need to be fixed. Yeah, catering to a specific group of people over and over is damaging to the game as a whole, but that isn't happening, at least the way you think. What is happeningis that certain professions (smuggler, ranger, squadleader for instance) are continually pushed to the back burner because people haveto have their combat fixed, or their droids fixed, or their galactic civil war fixed. And sad to say, thededicated people of these above mentioned professions are in the minority. Hence the delays. I'm sure if they had the manpower, the devs would fix all those issues tomorrow, but it's a sad fact of life that they don't. So they prioritize what they fix. If you don't like it,that's fine, but it's stupid to blame the players of the profession.
