Thread: All these Camping Complaints

LOL, that's great. So basically your admitting to bieng a jerk and hording the spawn. There was a time, along time ago... In a server far far away.... Like you said us old timers had to put in time and learn how to out damage for loot right. During the begining days of the holo rush I realized although commando damage was great since the dot didn't count for loot rights at the time I would lose to tk's. So I became one. One day while venturing for a prized holo I came across a spawn with a commando. I knew I could take it from him and regretably did so. Instead of arguing with me he simply said he knew when he was beat and moved on. I felt like an ass and knew I had done something wrong. well over a year later now I have grown up in the MMO world (swg is my first) and realized that it's much funnier to share with the people you know you can beat for loot. They thank you, and appreciate your kindness and sometimes you make a new friend out of it and 99% of the time you don't even miss a good loot cause the damn npc dropped credits. It just seems that some of you have yet to grow up and learn to share. And then some of you are just down right greedy.
you can only take the "growing up" thing so far. If its just you and one other trying to gain loot rights to one rare spawn then obviously thats a perfect time to try and make a new friend (although with group messages gone you need to have a lot of trust in strangers which is tough in this game). But when you gather a group to go and try to gain loot rights to nyax against other groups I don't think there is anymore growing up you can do besides just competing in a mature manner and trying to have fun in the process. With the millions worth of attachments nyax drops I don't see how someone with a 20k weapon can somehow think they have some right to it over the campers with weapons worth 20mil.
with that said let me just reiterate what I've said before, and that is that easy static spawns that drop uber loot probably isn't the best thing for a game like this. However I think the situation will be much different in the coming months when the SEA market gets flooded. Its already starting.
Don't Think there's any right or wrong about it. It's just the outcome.

And trust me I know losing sucks and I still get run off all the time, but that's just part of the game, you win some you lose some.

Wont even be a game, just a glorified chat room with loot terminals anyone can go get their fair share from by just pressing there special key a few times.
Hmm isn't that what already have...
Just a bit of carebearing away to make it that way though, hopefully the CU will turn things around and make it hard again.

It basically comes down to this; some people are mature and nice enough to share some aren't. Whatever the justification given is it comes down tothat, and nothing you say can change that so trying to justify camping is a waste of time

no love for the greedy lifeless spawn campers.
greed ruins the game for others who would hope to get a taste of what you horde.
time will come, and if not, it will at least drive players away from the game itself because they refuse to fix it, which is completely fine by me.
I agree that spawn camping isn't good for the game but its the way some of these static spawns work right now so you have to deal. You can't expect someone to just let you have millions of credits worth of loot without competing for it. Go kill ns elders or krayts cause nyax isn't for you.
no love for those not willing to earn high end loot. You're more greedy then the spawn campers if you think you have more right to this loot over someone or group with better weapons. There are plenty of other places to get less uber attachments. If you want the best you gotta earn the best.

Can't be said any better
If you guys wanna share everything without competing for it then test center is the perfect server for you. Everyone there is really nice and since its a tight nit community everyone is very helpful. Prices are much lower and people give away things to strangers that cost millions on live. I played there for a while, ground out all three of my characters thatare allowed there and was accepted into the community but something was always missing for me. It was the competition. They even have pvp rules where overts don't attack unless they both give their consent. Very different but I longed for a live server very much. You might wanna check it out.
