Thread: Can Special Edition Players get a little love

Ok have no idea where I should post this so I desided to do it here so please no flames about being in the wrong forum if I am.
When will Special Edition people get a little love. I like many others bought the special edition of the game when it first came out cause Sony promised us special content and what did we get? Ugly ass glasses that I never wear and cann't sale. They've done veteran rewards why cann't they do some SE Rewards as well. Maybee a unique bike, ship, mount, or clothing that doesn't really do anything besides looking cool. How about some Matrix style shades. How about some thing any thing.
What do u guys think? Should SE player get some thing a little extra?

you got your minutare, the extra book, and your nifty shades. they would probly charge you again if they gave you something else.

IMO, this is just as stupid as people who preordered JTL never having to pay for a swoop again. Which is pretty darn stupid.

they promissed us In game speacil offers or something like that. Yea the glasses are ok,
but they don't stand out. We bought the speacil edition for something awsome in the game. It would be nice to havea SE vehicle or clothing yes that would look cool maybe a suit or something.

Yep, the "goggles" look mighty redneckish kinda like the ones the beerswillin yokels wear hanging out at the quickie-mart

i see glasses all over now....i wish i had a set! there are only like 3 different sets of glasses/goggles in the game....so why is their a eyewaer tab on the bazarr there is never anything in it...non-tradeable.....maybe they could make goggles/eyewear a loot drop...if there are other glasses/goggles you can get in game with out being SE plz do tell! flame me about it if you wish i am just in it for the information....every one i know has the SE goggle/glasses but i am not SE. so to my info i cant get goggles/glasses. whitch i find realy mean!

I wish they would have made the goggles tradable so I can sell it. I am tired of wearing it. I love the idea of the Flash Speeder pre order....that was the only reason I pre ordered online and paid shipping instead of wealking into a store and picking up JTL.

I think the whole idea of the SE was a dumb one in the first place. Same goes for the pre-order JTL.
Everything within the game should be available to everyone if they put the effort in to get it. It just doesn't seem right that I have no chance of ever owning a pair of goggles or or a flash speeder; just because I wasn't able to buy a Special Edition because I live in the wrong country.
The idea that those 'lucky few' should then continue to get further free items throughout the life of the game gets a big /thumbsdown from me.

Agreed, i live in Norway and i had no chance of getting the pre-order. So getting more items down the line. Nope... not as long as its something we all can get.

There is no such thing as not getting a chance to buy the preorder. Both the SE SWG boxes and SE JTL are available on eBay. Sure you have to pay shipping, but if you want them that much, they are available to you.

There's a SE JTL? If your talking about the Flash Speeder that was given out because of pre-orders.
The Art Book? Thats a joke most of itis justscreen shots of the game's teraine and the diffrent faces one can get throught the character creation. In between all that is a couple of sketches of the alien races, kinda cool skecthes but way to few for an "art" book. If I was to buy this from a store I could only find my self paying 10 bollars for the book.
The figure? Sorry kinda cheep. The blaster it's holding is bent (at least mine is) and its a verry tinny thing that looks like a blind man wit one hand made the mold for it. I't looks like some thing you'd get from those little vending mashines that drop out those plastic eggs that have some little trinkint inside and hence I wouldn't pay more than a quarter for it.
As for the patch, well I've gotten 3 Republic Commando patches for free and that one accually looks cool so I wouldn't pay a dime for SWG's patch.
The big draw for the SE was that SOE said that there would be special content for the SE players and all we've gotten was some glasses, come on. A friend of mine was able to get a SE WOW and he told me he got an in-game pet that will fight for you and the only way to get this pe is to have the SE. I don't even want that much just some thing that we can have that does nothing special. Heck let us sell the stuff to so that non-SE player could get thier hands on some of the stuff and we dont have to wast space in our invitory, bank, or home with stuff we dont want.
