I want to create a shop sign for my store. I know how to add colour and how to have multiple lines.
What I want to know is: What is the limit on the amount of letters you can have and how many lines can there be ?

I typed out my sign in a notebook, with all the colour codes and stuff. When you want a new line just use reurn like normal. Copy all the sign and then paste it into your window where you create the sign in the game. You need to keymap the cut and paste commands in the toolbar first.

I was able to put multiple lines in my sign by writing the sign message in notepad. I then copied the text from notepad and pasted it into SWG. In order to copy and paste in SWG you need to rebind some keys. I set mine up to use CTRL-Shift-C to copy and CTRL-Shift-V to paste.

Just a side note, incase you did not know:
nomatter what you put into the sign in gameor how it looks on your note pad, the game will always center your text. So say if you set this in note pad:

\ /
-= your text here =-
/ \

it will come out looking like this on the sign:

\ /
-= your text here =-
/ \

As far as I know there is no way to get it to Not center the text.
Just something to keep in mind if you are going for a complex design, I would set up the text in a program like Wordpad or MS Office Word where you can align the text centered to design then align every thing left and add your color codes and what not.
