Thread: Exactly how does pre-ordering work?

I want to get the Jump to Lightspeed expansion because it sounds like it will be a lot of fun. Is there any difference pre-ordering other than getting the yacht. I haven't played for 6 months yet so I can't even get it.

No difference....if you want the Flash Speeder you better order quick 
Well if you had pre-ordered a couple weeks ago you could have gotten in the Open Beta, but that is not available anymore.

Okay, and what about the actual ordering? If I order online do I have to wait to get it in the mail or do I get a key that I just have to enter?

If you pre-order you get the game sent to you...cd, box, and key, I assume.
