Any general house tips would be nice but I have these specific questions:
1) Do I have to do anything special to place in my house or do I just drop the item?
2) How do I put things on the wall?

Yes, to place an item you just drop it. To put things on the wall, you need a house with stairs. And to build the house, you just need the deed and to find a place to put th house.

Bring up your world map (ctrl-V), click on vendors on the right side and then on housing, or something like that, I'm at work right now so don't have the game in front of me. That will then show everyone selling structures. You might want to travel to Naboo or Tatooine and look for vendors there also.

There is a known "exploit" to get houses to use the 10 lots jedi's are givin, but can't use. I was wondering if this wasa bannable "exploit" or if this was cool. I've put down so many houses I can't harvest anymore, so being an armorsmith is getting to be expensive. If this is alright I'd love to know.

There is a way to transfer a structure with a simple in-game command - /transferStructure. Since a Jedi can´t build a house it might
be considered an exploit in this special case, but surely not in general.
I´d like to know it for sure, though, too, since it´s tempting to have a Jedi hold a PA Hall (9 lots) for example.
So that makes a total of 2 questions:
1) is /transferStructure an exploit since it avoids re-deed cost upon "shuffleing lots"
2) is it an exploit to use it with a Jedi char who isn´t meant to have a structure (asking it although im pretty sure it´s a "yes")

That's what I'm wondering too, the csr i talked to said it was considered an "exploit", but what isn't in this game. He was unsure whether it was an offence I could be punished for, so I'm waiting for a positive answer.

Oh yeah, forgot toask, if you can't use the lots, why are you givin 10?

Most likely the coding doesn´t allow to "patch em out". It probably easier to modify the existing check,
the one that keeps telling use we can´t build in our current state ...

So basically, if you cant get banned for it, and it is still an exploit, you want to do it? But if you can get banned, you don't?
Jedi are not meant to place houses for whatever reason. If you find a way to circumvent that, that IS indeed an exploit. Whether they end up banning you for it is something that should have zero impact on you deciding to do it. Personally, if you knowingy take advantage of an exploit, I feel you should be banned. In other words, you know the rules and chose to break them anyway. If you did something and then learned it was an exploit afterwards, than I don't think you should be banned, but the situation certainly needs to be rectified.

Exactly, if I'm not going to get banned or in trouble for it I plan on doing it. I do not see as this so called exploit hurting anything or anyone in game. It will just allow me to free the lots I had to use on the jedi up. Plus it will give me a place to call my vehicle and log out for the night, givin even if you're admin, you can't declare residence, thus can't call your vehicle. I'm still waiting on someone that can tell me for sure to let me know. I put too much time in unlocking to lose because of something the devs see as an exploit.
