I know you macro ranged attacks, while AFK, but can you macro melee (unarmed) attacks while afk? If so, would someone please let me know? Thanks

same way as ranged or any other macro....

and ya dont be a knob. just go earn it, youll level faster killing higher level stuff than you will afk macroing peon green npc's in cities. i always laugh when i see people do this.

like yay! 100xp per kill if that. even if you run it all day while at work its still a waste of time. just get a buff and go kill stuff properly.

all melee professions take no more than 2 days to master from novice brawler . heres my formula:

-go to weapons shop buy all the best sliced up weapons youre gonna need for chosen skill

-go to corellian city and kill the low level mobs on the out skirts get to tier 3. this should take less than an hour (if youre not missing chromazomes)

-once you hit tier 3 youll need 70k xp for tier 4. hop on the shuttle and go to talus (drearic/nashal)

-grab 2 tortur missions (5900-6100 credits) preferably in a solo group to receive more creature spawns and xp bonuses. these bad boys are dumb, have no resists except for stun, die super easy and give great xp. by far the best effort:time:xp output ratio ive found at this skill level. i use them for all professions when i start out

-now that you have tier 4 dont get cocky. stay put and keep doing torturs til you get novice of your chosen melee prof.

-once at novice, head to your favorite 'real' hunting spot. i prefer dantooine. dont always look for the higher paying missions either. stuff like certain varieties of quenker and hurrton which have horrible payouts seem to give great xp:time:effort ratios.

-for melee i recommend the speed line first. (but thats just me) then area attacks. once you get a couple boxes up start killing graul maulers (payout 12-13k) again these things have crap resists and die incredibly easy for the amount of xp they give. they do have a kinetic resist so maybe not ideal for TKA. but fencers, swordsman and pike all get different damage types. fencers especially will like the grauls as theyre weak to stun.

hardest part is getting the ap. now if there were a macro for acquiring ap.......

Thanks for the info OdeviusO, that's really gonna help me out when I have the weekend to play more. The reason I was asking this question is, I don't have all the time in the world to play this, I'm 30 years old, about to move and get married and work 2 jobs and still find some time to play this gamesome how! But, you're info helped me out a lot, I've been killing crap on Tant and it gives crappy xp. Thanks again
