Thread: Trouble with the Sith camp...

I'm having trouble with the Sith camp spawning. I went thru the steps to be come force sensitive, collected the crystal from the old man, got jumped by the 2 Sith attackers, and looted the location of the camp.
This was all a month ago (at least).
Right after looting the location of the camp I was forced to log off (normal log out, RL issues). When I logged in to go take out the camp the camp was not there, but I now had 2 waypoints for investigating the Sith camp.
I has been this way for about a month and I receive a new waypoint every time I log in. I can delete the waypoints and they keep getting created, but until Saturday there was never a camp (and also surprisingly few real spawns in the area, like there was a placeholder).
On Saturday, there was an empty camp at the spawn location (large round tent, campfire with several chairs) but no NPCs. There were however spawns of wildlife in the area that were missing in previous visits.
When I tried again Sunday, the camp was gone again and the spawns were missing as well.
This hasn't been a big deal for me because I was spending most of my limited game time in the Beta test, but now that I'm back on Live, I get the constant reminder (new waypoint) that I'm still stuck.
If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.

i would also like to hear if there is a fix for this problem. i am in same boat. the wp happens every time but there is never a camp.

HOLY BUTT MONKEYS DUDE.... how hard are u gonna make this for yourself.
Delete all your wp's(to be safe write the wp cords down). Log off(get the new wp) go to the wp location and check it.... IF there is no camp(or no sith) then simply go to a different planet.
Log off.... wait till u disapear. Come back on and go back to the wp and check it again. If this doesn't work then it's an omen that Jedi is not for you.

I have deleted all of the waypoints, and the problem persists, I have also logged off and back on in a variety of different planets (and even in space), but the new waypoint is always for naboo (just like the first, and all WPs are identical)
I'll try deleteing all of the WPs 'AND' logging off /on on another planet, but I'm not confident that that is the fix either.

The wp is gonna be the same because it is the same planet as where u killed the sith. You just want it to be respawned.
Which for those that haven't got to kill the sith ... FYI pick a planet like corellia where u can quickly shuttle near the wp and get it done with !

Have you waited around to see if they spawn again? Perhaps someone came through and killed them before you got there, but my guess is that you've already tried this, and eliminated this possibility by logging out and back in near the waypoint.
I would ticket this one. You've waited long enough, obviously it's a bug. I got stuck on doing a themepark because the NPC I was supposed to converse with was inside of a giant tree and I could target him with the tab key but I could not converse with him because the tree blocked the radial button targeting.
I submitted a "Stuck" appeal, after all, in a sense, I was indeed stuck, not in location, but in the progress of the quest because of an npc location bug.
A CSR responded in something like 10 minutes, perhaps less and moved the npc. I'm willing to bet that if the CSR is able, he will cause the sith to respawn. If he has no command to make the sith respawn, he might be able to give you the loot you would have gotten if you had killed the sith, and this failing,try getting the wp to the village on dath and try to speak to the village elder.
At least by reporting this bug, the dev team can become aware of the issue.

i have tried logging many MANY times over a period of weeks at this point. and have an unanswered ticket. mines been open about a few weeks as well. i didnt even use vulgarity that usually accompanies a ticket.

I'll give a ticket a shot, just never had one responded to... Ah well, that's in the past, maybe it's different now. I'll post back here either way just in case there are others stuck in the same way.

Tried everything, including submitting a ticket.
The ticket was created, I got a number, and then I checked the ticket list in the holocron to make sure it read nice... NO TICKET
I waited 15 min to see if it was a lag/refresh issue, nadda
I 'PM'ed it to Tiggs with the ticket number to see what had happened to the ticket... no response 
This was all on tuesday evening (Nov 3rd), I've waited quietly for 3 days, but no response
Getting really frustrated.
