Thread: Dantooine Rebel Pilot Trainer??

Are you sure it is the right trainer? I am doing the imperial inquisiton and tier 2,3 and 4 trainers are all at the emporers retreat and I couledt talk to any of them until I saw the one in the front if the retreat 
Try talking to all the diffrent trainers you see

I almost thought that could have been the problem, but that's not it. I checked the whole place. /shrug
I mean the missions seem to go on for ever. I almost thought that maybe I wasn't doing the whole mission, but I get a mission complete message. I could keep going and fight wave after wave of ties, but if I have to spend hours at a time on these missions just to get training, something isn't right.

I'm a Rebel pilot(2-1-2-1), and I've made it to the Dantooine rebel base where I talk to the Vortex guy for missions. What I can't figure out is why he won't train me. I did the volunteer missions (hijacking, dogfighting, escort), came back, and he talked to me as if he'd never seen me before. He keeps saying that "once I think I have enough experience" I can come back and get some training, which never happens. I have enough XP now for more than two boxes of skills.
What am I doing wrong?

There is a trainer standing behind the vortex guy next to the room with the expolding electrical thingys. Will he train you?

ok, here's the deal. You can only get training from the guy closer to the entrance. The three missions he gives can end at any time, you just need to land. There are no objectives to them, they are just ways to gain xp. Once I filled a 60k box, he trained me, then I went out again to gain the 60k xp required for another box. WELL, at that point, you need to take one of his missions, which is an escort for a Rebel scientist from Yavin (at least that was it for me). Bring 1 or 2 friends along with you, as there is no way you can complete this solo. Too many ships. The tier 2s are easy, but you get a bunch of tier 3s as well. I'm still getting xp to train the next box, so no idea what to do there....

I had somewhat similar problem. Training is gated as where you have to complete a mission before he trains you, but the way I did it once was to stop conversing or tell him I didn't want the mission and then speak to him again, hen I had the option to train. This only worked when I had already completed a mission.

I have had thesame problem the other night also. I got my xp from doing some generic killing and no mission specifics. When I went to train he too gave me a new mission for experience but no training eventhough I qualified for it. I left the planet and came back and still nothing. So I went out and killed a few for xp's and then came back and he gave me my next mission and my option to train. It might be bugged is all I can tell you. Good luck and just keep trying back there eventhough it is a pain to keep traveling back to the rebel base.
