I am curious to know about those who have this same problem. Let me outline it for you:
The firstitem in your datapad, including ships, vehicles and pets, "locks" up. By that I mean it won't call or deed, giving you no error message. I had to have a CSR fix me up twice, and I still have to contact them a third time. They claim it's a corrupted file in your profiles folder, but it's inaccurate: I've deleted the said folder, and ran about three full-scans before logging in again, and the bug remains.

Apparently, when I run SWG on a second computer, one with a fresh install, the glitch does not occur. It only happens when I log in my "infected" client, and requires a CSR to fix.
My advice to you all is to uninstall SWG (and JTL), delete everything in the StarWarsGalaxies folder, as well as the Sony->Station->Launchpad folder in your program files. Restart your computer, then reinstall everything fresh (do not use any backed up files if you have them). Talk to a CSR to get your datapad fixed, and pray a Dev solution comes in an upcoming patch.
Please post here if you've experienced problems deeding ships, or calling vehicles or pets.
