Thread: Player created schemetics???

Can any player use a player created schemetic. So say I make a schemetic to make CDEF rifles, would any character (with the same resources) be able to make the weapons in a factory???

Yes. If I make a schematic for you for 1000 CDEF rifles, you can load it into an Equipment factory and run them out with the correct resources. They will still have me listed as the item creator though.

Nope! Just get a hold of a good DE and offer him to provide the resources for the items you need and most times you'll find a crafter that's willing to do this for next to nothing if they charge at all. I know of a few Smuggler's that do this with Weapon and Armor Upgrade Kits.

Dont be too upset if you have trouble finding a crafter willing to do this. Afterall, crafters make their credits from crafting and selling things. Giving away or selling schematic cheaply is basically giving away a huge source of income.

True but a lot of the time, I took a "you scratch my back, i'll scratch yours" approach to this. If you need something form a DE and are a Master Artisan, then look for a DE that isn't a MA. You can easily trade schematics and both come out ahead.

Player made schematics could also be used to sell to other crafters and such...but the biggest problem for this is the resources required...if not stockpiled, these schematics become useless to those who acquire them.

Thanks for all the feedback, but I used this handy information to make some schematics and to drop MA And I just made a schematic for a Master Tailor, so he could make Medium Warheads. He gave me a very nice clothing in return for it
