Just a question to all you vets out there. Once you have your perfect template, not neccesarily "THE" perfect template, but one that's perfect for you and fits your play style the best, and you have all the equipment and abilities that you've wanted to get. Now what?
If you decided that Jedi isn't your thing, but you've got your ideal template polished off, what do you feel is left for you to do in the game? Is it just a matter of hanging out in the dungeons, GeoLabs, DWB, and killing AR2's all day? Or do you go overt and start pvping? Or is there anything else that keeps you interested in the game?
I'm just wondering, because I've recently realized that I'm 1/2 thru my ideal template and realized that once I'm finished grinding I haven't the foggiest clue what to do......
Opinions? Experiences?

Socializing ... making friends, helping others that is what keeps me playing...
Some friends and me are currently working on a draw for a Rebel Pilot School on
Corbantis ... we have to get them while they are young, to recruit them to our
Ace Squad later.

The game still have a lot of potential ... ground PVE should become more challenging
but not impossible ... we shouldn't be forced to group, but rewarded through the loot
system...
I am also looking forward to the combat and gcw revamp and I hope they will continue the
monthly story arc once.

I madea krayt killer template..and killed krayts, lots of krayts...I had krayt on toast for breakfast..krayt steak for dinner and krayt with chips for tea...with krayt dips for supper.
Spent many months perfecting the art (and making 100's of millions of credits through pearl sales) but gave it up last week.

perfect template it's no possible in a broken game
My perfect template isn't really based on being the most awesome damage dealer or tank, its really based on what type of style I want for my character. I'm a fan of the PS2 Devil May Cry game so I chose a template of Master Pistols, TKM, and a lil Fencer for defense. TKM and MP give me a Dante feel when it comes to skills, gunslinging and head beating. I might switch the TKM with Swordsman later on if I want to become a damage dealer and hit up the dungeons.
Perfect template, no. Perfect for me, yeppers. ![]()

My character is aDoc/Tka I spent the weekend at the village. After I completed my medic quest, I stayed to assist others doing the fighting quest. I even returned the next day just to assist others. Altogether I faced about 8 invasions of the sith, even tho my quest w/ reward was done after 3.You'd be amazed how grateful theyare for someone who can rez and buff. Even tho not needed all the time, when you are needed, you're king of the hill
It was a blast! At one time there were three of us holed up in a hut and to look at the map, it was like an ant farm of sith. We'd run out, kill a few, run back in and try to heal etc.We survived

I think the game would be really boring if there was a boring game cause everyone would be the same. With different combinations of professions people can be good and be different from the next composite clone.

Well, I finished off TKM/Master Doc over 9 months ago. Those were the two professions I wanted to master. I had novice scout for awhile but dropped it to begin the FS quests. I'm not doing those for Jedi, just mainly to have something else to do. I don't "grind" exp to convert I just convert as it comes naturally. Now with JTL I'm working towards Imperial Ace so that was a welcome addition.
Before FS and JTL I would spend most of my time spending money actually. I would go out and grind some money to buy whatever new item I wanted to display in my PA hall. I spent a large amount of my time taking NPC missions from all over the galaxy. I soent a lot of time going down the list of NPC missions that were listed on Alkazam collecting bits and pieces of rare loots.
I also spent a lot of time in and out of various cantinnas, talking with live entertainers, discussing whatever came up. I like to roleplay a bit as well so another goal was gathering all the costumes and gear neccesary to play specific roles. Imperial Officer, Stormtrooper, Tusken, Aakuan, etc... I also enjoy grabbing a newbie from around Mos Eisley every now and again and showing them the ropes to get them started on their characters.
So, even though my main character is "complete" and has everything he could need I still have a lot of fun in-game. I have a lot of friends here and at least one of them could use some help in an evening of gameplay.
I will say that as a flight-sim junkie for over 12 years JTL has added a new level of gameplay for me.
