Version 3.0 (Updated 11/15/04)

You can find these two aids, Sean and Victor, in the Bestine capital building. To vote for the aids you must find evidence about why you believe they should be in office. Seans wife is the closest to the capital and offers writian testomony. Victor's closests evidence are data disks you have to download from data terminals in the capital. You only need 1 evidence to vote, if you have evidence of a opponent you may want to put it in a backpack or droid, so keep from voting for the one you dont like. New non-quest NPC's now dot the bestine area that, from a roleplaying prospective, can over some reasons to vote.

How long does the Politition Cycle last:~24 days, with 7 days to vote.

Victor - Imperials #1 choice for a safer Bestine

  • Effect: More Stormtroopers in Bestine.

    • Quest - "Kill the Tuskin Executioner"

      • Unable to complete because only one spawns at server reset then it does not spawn again. Executioner is about (200k HAM with 80% resistances and Heavy Armor)

      • Quest Reward: Unknown

  • Reward: Either 1 Imperial Banner (Rare)or a "Loyalist" Necklace (Comman)

  • Nearest Evidence Location:

    • Business Terminal In Victors office

Sean - Rebels #1 pick for a weaker Bestine

  • Effect: Bazaar Behind Bank spawns (a Merchant) npc's. Little Imperial Presence.

    • Quest - "Bestines History"

      • Sean wants you to go to some wreckage near the Bestine memoral and find a Disk. Talk to the NPC near the wreckage then get the disk from the terminal. Talk to the NPC again and return and converse with Sean. The disk contains some bad info about Seans family's past and he needs it destroyed.

      • Good Ending: Take the disk to the waypoint provided and converse with the NPC. Return to Sean and receive your reward, A Painting of a Planetary Sunrise (Dont remeber the actual name)

      • Bad Ending: Take the disk to the NPC outside the capital building to the left if you are facing the capital. Talk with him and give the disk to Jabba's man. Your reward is a C12 (loot quality) gernade. Sean at this point will no longer speak with you.

    • Reward: Ornate Rug (Rare) or Decrotive Statue (Comman, also renamed item originaly a Strange Statue.)

    • Nearst Evidence locations:

      • NPC behind Bestine Museum

      • Seans wife, residence near Museum

Voting

  1. Join either Sean or Victors Campaign and recieve a disk, talk to the secretary to get clues on who may have evidence.

  2. Once you have the evidence return to the Capital building and Converse with Govoner Tour, please note you must converse with her, you cannot drag the evidence on her she will refuse it,also by default Tour will see Victors evidence first, so if you want sean delete the evidence for Victor.

  3. Select I have evidence, and accept if you wish to give her it and log your vote.

Tuskin Raids, This system is a Event system spawned bythe Live Event Team. Several Spawn points have been set up around the city. One is out side the Gate Nearest to the Memorial Flag and the other is in the back left of the Cantina near the Salon.

Did I do something wrong? I didn't get a reward...

Viewed both aides, talked to Victor's secretary (What a mindless human) she gave me a disk, I downloaded it from the terminal right there in the room. Gave it to the Govenor... She thanked me and I voted. No reward? I then re-read the data and went to meet with the Orphanage director. She gave me a receipt for monies given. But I haven't done anything with it.

For those of us inable to play the game right at this moment would you care to tell me what this rug or painting looks like? Indulge me since I've wanted some of these types of items for so long now.

Can anyone do these, or just neutrals and Imperials? I thought I read somewhere that one of the NPCs won't talk to rebels.

Do we get a message when the election happens? Or is there any other visible sign of it?

If you converse with the NPC's around Bestine during the election they will say who they are planning on voting for and why. In other times they will say something about sean being incharge or victor.

There is no Mail saying voting has started or who won, if the cycle from TC is the same on live then every 6 or 8 hours a new election is held, It takes 4 hours for a election period 2 - 4 hours before a new one starts.

Would be nice to hear from a RedName roughly how long the voting cycle is, I dont have the time to be checking in at bestine each and every day.

When do the elections end? Meaning, if I vote on Monday and the election ends on Friday, will I get my quest reward in my pack when I am out fighting critters on Endor Friday night? Also, is this an electoin that I can only go thru and do one time or can i vote for Victor for two weeks, and get his ifts, then vote for Sean the next two? Thanks
