hi, not sure if this is the right place to post this but i could'nt find anywhere else to. so anyway
I'm getting a 2nd account soon and i was wondering if, when i transfer one of my characters to the other account but not change galaxy, do i keep all my stuffor not? Also my on my account atm i have the vet ship, would i keep this when i transfer my character or would i loose it and have to rack up 180 days again?
So i really need the answers to these question pls
A) Do i keep all my stuff when i transfer my character to a diffrent account (i.e. Credit's, items, houses ect..)?
B) Do i keep the vet reward on the character that i transfered?
Thx for any help, this is really bugging me and i want to order my 2nd copy of the game ASAP

From what i read
Characters keep name, skills but nothing else.
Badges, items, FS progression are all lost.
And if your transferring to one account why get a second account? just create a new character on another server, you are not allowed two characters from one account on the same server unless you have unlocked your Jedi character.

You cannot keep anything - as it says on the character transfer FAQ.
Your character goes over with their skills, but NOTHING else.

that sucks and the reason im transfering my charachter is b/c it's my brothers, so when i transfer it we can both play at the same time Also lemme get thsi straight u loose all ur stuff even if it's just account to ccount transfering and not changing galaxy?

Just a quick note as well, if you have become FS they class this as a Jedi - and WONT move it, even if you have only filled one box of one tree - FS=Screwed. I have mailed SOE countless times to say I dont care about losing FS I just want a basic character move, but no cigar.

Character transfer is a joke. Why bother when you cant transfer items, credits or jedi. Those are really the only things a person would really want to move, not some arbitrary skill set that can be grinded in a day or two.

can u not just delete ur FS boxes? or even if u talk to the old man can u not do character transfers?

Exactly, thats been my thought too. It makes no sense at all to transfer the only things you can re-create yourself for free.
If you want a TKM on another server or account, just make a new character and grind it out cause you can do it in far less time that it takes for them to approve and do the move. Character transfer was made in SWG to sucker in the uberleets that used character transfer to exploit in other MMORPGs.

Yes, but you can avoid this if you know someone who can keep the stuff for you.
You can give it away before the transfer and get it back after you're done.

I dont know if you can surrender your boxes, and I also don't know if it will make any difference to SOE.
FS=JEDI=NO MOVE is what I got. I have tried, and like other posters have said, you can grind it out as quick so why bother.
(Actually Rifleman is a bit of a ballache, which is what I wanted to transer....)
