Thread: How do I get the game to recognize that I pre-ordered?

I pre-ordered from GameStop before I went into the hospital, which would have been before Oct. 18th. I registered the pre-order on the forum, not in the launch screen to the game, but was never able to get into JTL Beta. It kept saying that I was not registered, when I clearly was.
Now once into JTL, after getting my regular game from GameStop just today (Oct 29), I am able to fly, etc., but do not have the pre-order gift of the Naboo Flash Speeder. That was just one of the reasons I pre-ordered, the main one being wanting to join in the JTL Beta, which I never was able to do.
Could I please get the Flash Speeder deeded or have it transferred to me by a CSR ingame? It isn't a lot, but would at least let me know that I was recognized as pre-ordering.

The flash speeder is activated thru a 2nd cd-key that usually comes with the pre-order beta disk. I just used the launchpad and used edit account, then register expansion. I entered both the beta key and the JTL key, that gave both my accounts the flash speeder (I preordered two copies).
I heard some of them had a 2nd cd key listed with main. It's this key that gives the flash speeder. It's non-tradeable and you can retrieve another one at anytime using /flashspeeder to get another deed for 20k. That is good considering I've lost 3 of them already, since they only have 1500 HAM.
I don't remember what the second company was, but EBgames and I think Gamestop were the two that had the deal. I would contact Gamestop about this since they are ones that messed up and didn't give you the second key.

What is fun, alot of them were giving away other people's pre-order bonus disks to just anybody. So alot of people got shorted their bonus disk because some idiots gave them away to somebody else.
But yes, they have disclaimers to protect themselves for things like this. That's why I preordered two copies a MONTH in advance so it was still a preorder instead of just a few days before release.

That's exactly what I have. I bought the pre order beta disc, the one from GameStop. I bought a second copy at the same time for my wife, hers works, mine doesn't.

Then why are you complaining here instead of where it belongs? Gamestop screwed up! Now let's find their address, and take their children hostage untill they release the beta disc!

This is what i did:
1. Of course, the ebgames JTL expansion disk came first. Opened Launchpad, registered expansion. Closed launchpad. Installed game from Cd. Reopened launchpad. Launchpad scans game files. ANd you are set.
2. A couple days later, the preorder disk from Ebgames came, opened launch pad. In the launchpad notes, there is still a link or two in there that will give instructions on how to get the Naboo speeder. Click on one of the links, and register the key that came with the preorder disk. This preorder disk is nothing, just has a preorder key on the back of the cdcase. After logging in, Entered the key into the spot provided. Closed register window. And went back to launchpad. Went into game. And typed /flash. This game me the deed to the flash speeder.

I am glad I avoided this by pre ordering waay early. Pretty soon the Flash Speeder will become old hat and no one will be interested in it. The devs could help the situation by introducing some more new vehicles in game ASAP.
