Thread: Help! Need Thug faction!

Hey there! Question for you guys; no one seems to know this.
My problem is while doing the imperial them park I get stuck on that mission from the Inquisitor about taking a slicer back to him. I assume he agro's me instead of letting me converse with him because of my -4500 thug faction.
Is there any way besides killing porr scientists/miners etc at the different outposts to gain thug faction? i.e. Missions on townspeope etc.?

they spawn alot in mining outpost on dantooine, all the (a scientist) and other people around give you thug faction if you kill them.
there are alot of em on lok/nym's stronghold too as well as yavin, but i can't remember wich outpost, probably both.
it's the only way to do that. I know you know it, but... good luck on this.

u dont need to change faction ffs im sorry but im sick and tired of the same question coming up im sorry there really needs to be a sticky at the top for this question as so many keep asking it.... kill the bum then /conv to his corpse before looting it and it will complete the mission.

Man this really needs to be stickied.
This is the 10th time this ? has come up in the last 2 weeks - not your fault poster.
Kill the thug and do /conv on the corpse.
Tons of peeps will tell you all sorts of things like macros and do peace or/conv from a distance .
Ignore all of them, just kill the thug and do /conv (converse) on the dead body it works every single time.

I'm very sorry for posting this then. I did not realize this had been asked several times as I do not frequent this particular board often.
I'm not customed to reading 20 pages back before posting a question.
On the other thank you guys very much for those who responded to my issue. I really do appreciate the help.

As I said it is not your fault
It is SOE's fault and stuff like this needs to be stickied so you do not have to read through 20 pages.
Please do not take offense at what was said - a new player cannot be faulted for a game problem

i had the same problems, and im glad you got the help you needed, i got down to about -4000 thug fp and gave up, i only learned because i needed to get the badge for FS (wich i also gave up because its boring)

I was just doing it because I have 2.5 mil fs xp banked and looking for something to do while I wait 5 more weeks.

Really????
I've tried that method several times trying to get the lytus missions on Dant. And it does give me the "return to the person who gave you this mission" dealy.. But when I arrive back and talk to him I am met simply with failure.
What am I doing wrong?
