I was wondering if anyone could inform me whether it is possible for multiple people to have administrative rights over a guild, and if that is the case how would one go about setting multiple administraotrs up?

Nope.

You can give permissions to other members to do the following:

Mail (seems to be the spam mail on getting a new member, not working)
Sponsor
Title (allows them to set title for members)
Accept (adds a sponsored member to the guild)
Kick (removes a player from guild)
War (start/end wars with PA)
Change Guild name (i believe that ones there)
Disband guild

There is no way for a Guild leader to give anyone else permission to change other member permissions. Only the guild leader can do that.
