Is the mission you get to disable a nym lt. broken? I disabeld one scanned it used the dock command and it will not ever let me dock. Then i destroyed it and havent been able to disable once since any ideas?

speaking of disabling....how do you disable? I can destroy but what do you do to only disable a ship? sorry to hijack your thread....

target it , then hit ] to target its engine , shoot at it till it says " the enemy has ben disabled " then sit stationary by the ship ( if your aginst a YT-1300 * or whatever number * be sure to stay under it so the turret cant shoot at you while you wait

Yea.... Like he said, use the "[ or ]" keys once you have a target "LOCKED"... Its fun disabeling the ships, and very handy if your alone and have more than one on you, so you can come back later and do your business when you finished off the others that were shooting you in the back! When you have a target locked, and you hit the [ or ] keys, it will either say in red print "engine" or "reactor" under the target description on your top right! If its a big target with guns then you will get a list of "gun 1,2,3, or 0" plus the engine and reactor... but not at the same time, in orderly fashion of course!

This happened to me in beta Dr Shinns yacht mission would not let me do that.
Question is did you get the cut scene to the docking manuver and the docking message . Mine just kept repeating the cut scene over & over without ever allow me to dock.
If that is the case it is a bug and you should report it.
You did say you scanned it - I presume you did the "I" inspect command and it told you this was the ship you were looking for - then you need to be within 30 meters of the ship and do the /dock - which I interpret you did from your post.
