i just bought blueprints for a dunelizard chassis. I got the chassis built from the guy in the starport lobby.

I have opened the ship deed so its now in my datapad.

I cannot use the ship at the starship terminal because it has no reactor.

When i try and add components to the ship from within my datapad, it says i must be stood next to a 'space terminal'

Is this the same as the 'starship terminal'?

because even when i'm stood next to it, i cannot load any compoants - only view my ship.

help please

ps. i do have a reactor along with other componants, i just cannot add them to the chassis

well from what u have written it seems u are trying to change/add components to it through your data pad you can only see what u the ship has.... to actually load and alter components u have to go to the space terminal in the starport select the ship and go on manage.... then it should be self explanatory from there hope that helps

Load up the starship terminal, select the ship you want to work with (supposing that your ship is docked in that starport), and hit manage.Input the components youwant/need into the ship from there.It doesn't allow you to change components through the datapad.

thanks for the quick replies to my question.

I didnt have the option to select the ship from the starship terminal. It said 'no reactor' and the select key was greyed out.

After logging out, then back in, the 'select' button is now highlighted - no mention of the reactor.

maybe a little bug that a relog cured.
