I have the Hero Quest pieces, a cool red pymirad, and a few other cool items I cannot drop into my house or Yacht (Deja-Vu). Ive also seen the Jedi Mission Holocron in someones merchant tent.but, there is this really cool musem(North North West of The STC on Scylla)that has every painting and sclupture thats been in our galaxy so far. Totally radd padd! Anyway, the curatior/owner has his Hero Of Tatoonie awards assembled on a table. It formed a glowing ball and looked AMAZZzzzz-zZING!

BUT!!!

How did they/I drop them? How did they get permission to drop the item? Everytime I try to drop it, Everytime Iget a message stating "That item can only be stored in the players bank or inventory, a Top-Level inventory item only".

Plz help. I would love to show off my cool red pymirdand Hero award on my yacht.

You need to declare residence at your home using the terminal to allow placing of the Hero of Tatooine pieces.

The red pyramid(Sith Holocron) I believe is the one you got from the quest?

If so that is not droppable anywhere apart from your bank. Only looted ones can be dropped.

I'm pretty sure thats it

Like the above poster stated, Hero Quest pieces can be dropped in your declared residence. The Sith Holocrons used to drop as loot (may still) and those can be placed as decorations where the quest one cannot.

Incorrect. You can drop them in a house that you own. My declared residence is in Pannonia, Farstar, and I dropped the Hero of Tatooine quest pieces in my house near Coronet.

As a possibility:

Do you own the building you're dropping it in, or are you just an admin on it? If you own it, are there any other players on the admin list?

My guess: devs don't want players having these items unless they've earned them. Thus, there have to be limitations on trading, which includes not being able to put these items into a container or on a vendor, since I don't believe the game can check for the trade/no-trade status of an item in a container being traded. Houses allow another way to "trade" items, since if you have two players as with admin rights, one can drop an item, and the other can pick it up. Or you can drop an item and do a /transfer on the structure.

I'd say if you want to display these items, place a house and have only yourself as the admin, and see if that allows you to drop them. The only "no trade" items I've ever had were the Dead eye decoder/message, which I deleted a while ago, so I can't really try this myself.

the sith holocron you got as a reward is undropable

although you can loot sith holocrons and you can drop the looted ones but not the quest ones

as for your hero quest pices you should be able to drop those in any house you have admin access to

Out of interest, is it possible to drop the individual parts of the Hero quests? Im really not interested in getting the Mark of Altruism or the Mark of the Hero(they dont it my character), but it would be nice to drop the other stuff about the place.

I believe you can't drop them until you've gotten the entire Mark of the Hero.

alot of diff information here.

I cannot drop my hero stuff in a house I am admin.

I can drop it all in a house I own, a house taking up my lots and declared to be mine.

I can drop one part at a time didnt need to have it all.

I had an idea of having 2 full hero quest "balls" coz I had my jedi get the ring. I transfered the house to my jedi and dropped and assembled all 4 parts, then transfered it back to me. when I went in to place my set I almost fainted when I seen the first parts belonging to my jedi had disapeared.

Quickly transfered the house back to my jedi and thank the gods it came back the next day.

decided one hero ball per house would be best.

Ok for deffinite I know you can drop the pieces without having the whole thing, I have 2 pieces dropped in one of my houses and dont own any other pieces. When you drop the pices they are always detached but dropping them in the same spot will form a ball. Because I don't have them all mine just forms half a ball. This means that if you want to move the pieces around the building, you have to move each individual 1, rather than the whole ball in one go.

As for dropping them, I know the building has to be deeded to the person whos dropping the reward. I tried dropping in my guild hall but because the deed isnt on my lots, I can't drop it there.

I also have it in my house which isn't a declared residence, but it was when I dropped them. I think however you can drop them in any building you have used lots up for.

All this information I know for deffinite as I have done it.

WOW, Thanks everyone! It worked Great! Ive got this very cool "Hero-Ball" in my house now!! I think my plant likes it too. As soon as I had it in the house for a few hours, my Small Ayrilian Plant went to Perfect Condition! I do wish they would make that Pymird dropable, or give it to a Hermit/Junk dealerand they turn it into "regular loot" (then gives it back, of course). PSSST, Dev's - How bout that? That way we could turn that kind of stuff into regular items!

That "Hero-Ball" is just WICKED looking in the house.... Thanks!!
