I've just reactivated my account after quitting the game nearly 6 months ago and decided its time to make a fresh start as thecharicter I had lost all 3 of his houses and the guild he was in is no more plus he has no money to his name!!! lol.
So i want to know witch is the best / most active server to play on my old server was Eclipse I my use it again but would really like a complete fresh start Thanks

What are you looking for and what are the most important game features for you?
and....a little bit about scylla:
Mid-sized server, not so large as to be lag city, but large enough that you can get a buff or BF healed any time of the day.
I haven't actively fought in the GCW so I can't help you there.
Average prices (to figure out inflation)
small house: 6-10k
swoop: 35-30k
landspeeder: 10k
Good set of Wookiee armor: 350k (sorry, don't know about composite)
If you have any specific questions, feel free to post here, I'll check once or twice a day.
Oooh, we also have a really nice guild called New Hope Alliance!
I'm sure I could hook you up with them

We seem to have plenty of people still around when the server shuts down as well.
Even our guild doc is a European
(a or an? "a" is gramatically incorrect, but it sounds right)

your best bet would be to browse server's specific boards in the forum.
but I'd say, go for eclipse, the community is awesome (simply check the boards), alot of people will help you to start (just post a thread on our boards saying you're coming), credits, clothing, maybe even starship, armor and/or weapons, we usually do help newcomers, and you might find a friendly PA to begin with.
I tried several other servers, spent some time on em, only to realize that I felt better playing on eclipse, now it's 1 year that I play around, no way I'll ever switch.
we have low/mid PvPers base, PvP being all about a handfull of PAs
we have quite a bunch of roleplayers
most people around are open to help (I mean help, not just giving away 100k for an armor)
top notch crafters (as most old servers)
premium malls, big player cities (most being quite active)
RP events, PvP events
again, go and check the boards, it'll be helpfull to figure out community's quality on the servers.

Shadowfire may be a bit small in population but the players are great!

Naritus, best server ever!
Of course, I'm a little biased.

we offer huge bribes to new players!
i was going to say something serious like 'im sure all servers are good', but...im too lazy.
If you havent founda home yet, we'd welcome you with open arms

I play in Starsider, which for the most part, has a strong role-playing community. Alas, far too many Jedi running around. I also have a Wookie on Bria but I just started playing him. Anyone have any information on Chimaera? I hear that the roleplaying there is pretty strong too, and a better sense of community.

If you want a server with many people on during your hours come to Gorath. Like someone already said it has a great mix of American and European players so a lot of people are on all the time. Plus, while the prices are inflated somewhat, it is still cheaper than many servers and much cheaper than the scylla prices that someone previously quoted.

I played on Scylla for almost a year off and on. I finally got sick of it. And started a new character on Valcyn. I love it and won't log onto my Scylla character ever again.
