Thread: Where are the keys for enabling a Pre-Ordered JTL located and what are they called?

I know one of the keys is called an account key and a registration key but I'm not sure.

I have heard conflicting stories.

1. I am told that one of these two numbers can be found on the CD jewel case of the beta installer disk that I received after I pre-ordered but I can't find the original post and I can't remember what they called that number.

2. I was told that one of the keys would be on the jewel case of the JTL retail disk when it ever arrives IF it ever does!

3. I read one post that said they received a box with their beta CD and that they used the number off the box but my box says sample box and its empty and the only number is one in a barcode that is part of the box and not printed on a label. I doubt if this is the nuber I need.

4. I was told in emails from EB and Gamestop that the unlocking key or something like that would be emailed to me within the week but then they go on to say that if I receive my game before I get the key, not to worry, that I would still be emailed my key within a week. If I already have the key from my beta disk as claimed in #1 above, and I have another key on the retail disk, than why do they imply that I need a THIRD key from a future email from them?

Where are these numbers located and what are they called?

Where do I enter these numbers? By the time I get my retail version the info on where to put these numbers might be buried under a mound of posts.

I haven't got the JTL disks yet (actually they were delivered today but I haven't gotten home yet), but I did get the pre-disks for beta install. On the CD jewel case is a key number similar to any key code on a microsoft product or other game, such as

SD79-WE8T-KL43-SDKJ-780S

If you open your account and click on the register expansion button, a box will enter for you to enter the code, so enter this code, then the next time you enter the game you will find the flash speeder deed in your inventory, whereupon you use the radial menu to "generate vehicle."

The first time I was able to get it generated in my datapad, but I couldn't call it, until I logged out and logged back in, then it was fine.

When JTL disks are received, get the key number from that CD case and enter it in the same account registration box that you did to get the flash speeder with its code.
